And, that's everything for now. Thanks for following along.

Congrats on the harvest, HashGirl!

Suzy was a lot frostier than my SSH- even with your high
tolerance, I think you'll probably feel this one...:ganjamon:

Thanks, everyone. If I like the strains I harvested, I'll definitely have to grow them again. Hopefully, next go-round has no issues.

Highya HashGirl :ciao:

Congrats on harvesting those big, beautiful buds! :goodjob:
Didn't get to follow along on this grow but would love to follow along on the next. :Namaste:

:welcome: to my grow journal. My current grow started in January and will end in December. It is my attempt to start a perpetual grow. However, so far, it's not exactly going to plan. But, stay tuned. I have hopes the next batch will be better.

SWEET SEEDS - BLACK JACK F1 FAST VERSION: A SUPERFAST BLACK JACK
The original Black Jack was not only one of Sweet Seeds first cannabis strains, but it is also one of their most popular. In a bid to improve upon these classic genetics, they have combined Sweet Afghani Delicious S.A.D. Auto with an elite clone of Jack Herer, making her a 50/50 hybrid. The result is a stable, feminized non-autoflowering version of Jack Black that flowers one week shorter than the original. For those who love the classic characteristics of Jack Black, these improvements are going to come as welcome news.

Just like the original, Black Jack F1 Fast Version is a vigorous and bountiful cannabis strain. She puts a lot of energy into multiple side branches, which in time, allow her to support a large amount of resinous bud. In terms of flowering time, this fast variety of Black Jack is able to complete her flowering phase in 7-8 weeks indoors, or by mid-September outdoors. In terms of yield, Black Jack F1 Fast Version is capable of producing between 500-600g/m² indoors, or up to 700g/plant outdoors.

Black Jack F1 Fast Version produces a very sweet aroma that rides undertones of both spicy incense and lemony citrus. Staying in line with her 50/50 genetics, she is able to induce a mixing mind and body high – uplifting the mind into euphoria while gently easing muscles. Much like her namesake, Black Jack F1 Fast Version is hard-hitting and long-lasting.

Black Jack Fast offers a clear-headed, invigorating effect guaranteed to be conducive to good times. No paranoia, anxiety, or hangover here - just a wonderful experience with a long-lasting hybrid high.

*** VEG1 UPDATE ***

The next 2 ladies are both Jack Herers since I didn't get a great yield with the last 2. I had some seed difficulties with the Jack Herers so their birthdates are late.

First up is Jazz, also born on May 30, 2023:

JACK HERER (2 seeds)

Primary Terpenes:Myrcene, Caryophyllene, alpha-Bisabolol*
Genotype:Photoperiod
Phenotype:Hybrid (Sativa-Dominant)
Breeder:Vision Seeds
Genetics:Skunk #1 x Northern Lights #5 x Haze
Projected Flowering Time:49 to 63 days
Projected Yield:500g / sq metre
THC %:15-20
CBD %:<1

*NOTE: The terpenes were determined by testing.

The Jack Herer is a sativa dominant strain, a cross between Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5 and Haze. It was named this way in honor of Jack Herer by Ben Dronkers, founder of the Sensi Seed Bank. Jack Herer is a very popular strain, winning the High Times Cannabis Cup several years in a row. The Jack Herer strain has a light green color with light orange to brown hairs covering it. Amazing quality medical cannabis producing dense, easy to work with buds. Taste and smell are skunky, sharp musky and spicy. It gives you a light headed almost euphoric feeling which can be felt almost instantly. Jack Herer is considered to be among the world’s finest.

Jack Herer Strain Typical Effects
Right with the first puff, a potent head buzz provides an energizing, mind-clearing influence. The high increases focus, creativity and purifies from unnecessary thoughts. After some time, the body will also catch up with a calming sensation without affecting its functionality. On top of that, a feeling of euphoria and ease can result in an engaging conversation or meditations.

At the same time, this weed can alleviate stress, anxiety, and depression. It is also known to have relieving effects when dealing with migraines and body pains. The side effects are mostly similar to other strains, so the only thing to avoid is overconsumption. But some reviewers state that it is possible to feel an increased frequency of heartbeats. Again, it is important to mention that it is a bad idea to treat insomnia with this marijuana.

Growing Information
Fortunately for growers, the seeds are available for purchase on the Internet. The difficulty of growing this plant is moderate due to the necessity of regular trimming and its climate requirements. Jack Herer strain can be grown indoors or outdoors. When raising indoors, the flowering cycle takes about 10 weeks, and the plant requires constant trimming due to its height. For outdoor cultivation, it demands a Mediterranean climate with a temperature of about 72-80 degrees Fahrenheit. The harvest time is during mid and late October.

Next up is Jade, who was born on June 10:

Both Jack Herers show some leaf burn from growing into the fluorescent light above. But, that's it for the new ones.

Since I planted seeds in April and May when I meant to take a month off for the long-flowering sativas didn't happen, I decided to not plant any seeds for the June run.

I'll start 4 more on July 18. By then, most of the autoflowers should be finished.

Thanks for following along. Comments, questions and suggestions are always welcome.

Congrats on the harvest, HashGirl!

I have to apologize to you, Carcass. I have completely dropped the ball on all the grow journals I follow and yours is one of them. I just went to it now to catch up and I've haven't been there since APRIL 27TH! I feel bad since you've been consistent here. Part of the problem is that I'm typically outside during the day now because it's finally nice out and I get high when I get back inside and I can't read a lot due to the side effects. :cheesygrinsmiley: And, if I'm not high, I always seem to have a gazillion things to do and most of them take priority over getting up to date with everyone. I figure my journal is the most important one to keep up. Anyhow, I'm starting to feel my buzz so, I hope you can accept my apology. :battingeyelashes:

I would also like to apologize to the following people for not following their journals lately, too:

@StoneOtter , @InTheShed , @Carmen Ray @Melville Hobbes , @Virgin Ground , @DV8 , @Grand Daddy Black , @Stunger , @DeeBoy , @BeezLuiz , @GratefulBud , @LKABudMan , @Tokin Roll , @Chuckeye , @Cola Monster

I think that's everyone. If I've missed anyone else, I apologize for that as well.

:thanks: for your time.

Busy is better! Congrats on the harvests and nice to get the burned ones out of the way to make room for all the new green babies you've got coming in behind them. :cheer:

My question is should I drop the rest of the Cannalope Haze seeds in water? The vendor, The Seed Pharm, who is listed as a sponsor here, but don't appear to have a tag, told me I could have 6 months after date of purchase for a one-time replacement of any seeds that turn out to be autos. Date of purchase was January 23 so that means if I want to be reimbursed for them, I need to let them know before July 23. So, my dilemma is that I've already been overwhelmed with far too many plants in flower at one time and the plants have suffered for it.

So, seriously, should I throw the 4 seeds in water, which I'm sure will also turn out to be autos or should I just cut my costs now?
Drop them all and put them in 1 gallon pots outside. They can have leftover nutes from the outside grow and in a few weeks you'll have your answer for the "breeder."
:thumb:
Additionally, I was using way more citric acid than @InTheShed recommended. I can't remember exactly but I think I was adding a quarter cup of it to the water. Hence, ugly plants.
Yeah that might have been a bit much even for a 1% solution. I'd make sure you weigh it out when you mix.
Now that I'm using distilled water and only 2.5g of citric acid, I haven't had any leaf problem.
Noice!

Don't you worry about that HG, we comes and we goes, and it's just good to see folk when they're about. I tend to often be off on other tangents every year in the outdoor 'off season'. All the best!

No worries HG, it's good to be busy and out and about. You must make the most of it  Please don't feel you have to catch up! Just drop in when you can. I can catch you up in a couple of sentences. I have two young auto veggers and one new sprout, one too many and so the new one will go in the garden. All is well and swicking in los in my grow. I'm loving the lights. There, done! :)

Jade really got her act together. I thought she looked a bit weak in that day 8 pic but she's looking good now. They all look good now.

I have to apologize to you, Carcass. I have completely dropped the ball on all the grow journals I follow and yours is one of them.
No worries, HashGirl- I doubt any of us have the spare time we had at the height of the pandemic, when it seemed like everyone was on here all the time- that was great, but now it's back to business as usual,
and folks have other stuff to get done, so we have to get on here when we can spare the time...
And I appreciate you stopping by my journal..once a week, once a month- whenever you've got time, is just fine with me..💚

Aw HashGirl you're so sweet to think and say that! I appreciate you and all that makes you tick! I'm excited for you and your busy life with Felonious! One day you may have more time for this, until then, job well done, and I'm so very happy to know you! Feel good always about your time here, you've helped many!

Hi HG! Just tagging in here so that I can remind myself to add your newest grow on to my catch up list! Expect lots of likes and loves over the next few days as I get caught up! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful girls!
