Has Anyone Had to Deal Leaf Septoria? Any Good Treatments?

Well I originally thought I had a nute issue... I am now see it as Leaf Septoria. I know this is contagious and seeing how advanced it has become, I'm thinking of killing it off and burning it. I don't care if it is Fem or not. I do not want this spreading to other plants. I have isolated the plant and looking for solutions if others start showing signs of this. If anyone has dealt with this and knows a solution Please respond!

For those unfamiliar with Seporita: This is not an insect it is a fungal issue that is in the soil. It is common in soil that is reused. I do reuse soil and understand I need to trash this soil. I do not see it in other plant so I may be ok on the other plants for now. This can overwinter in soil so the best solution for the future is to not reuse the soil in this container.

I am curious what makes you think it is septoria. It does not look like the pics of septoria I see on google, which starts out with rounded yellow spots randomly placed on the leaves, (which later turn dark brown) which is nothing like what you have. I think you still may have some sort of nute issue, tho I cannot diagnose it for you. Personally I would still go ahead and get rid of the soil, and repot the plant.

What makes me think it is septoria is the browning spots haloed by yellow. It has been going on with plant for a couple months now. This has advanced to this point. I see it starting in the upper leaves now as black spots (Under leaf pics). It did start at the bottom and worked it's way up the plant.

I could be totally wrong... I have been doing a lot searching of nute issues and I thought it was a Nitrogen or Calcium issue. I have been adding extra Cal. and Nite. to it and the new growth started looking better. Over the last week it has turned worse... now seeing the black spots when you look through the under side of the leaf . When I have seen Septoria in my searches it has not looked this bad. This it what makes me think it advanced to this point.

I would like to add... I'm totally open to new thoughts, as I'm new to some of these issues and doing what I can to diag the issues and learning what is going on.

Well I guess that is why I said I would repot the plant in fresh soil. I don't have any ideas on which thing or things are not getting along in the mulder chart sort of way, I just think there is too much of SOMETHING in there.

Maybe this would help... Here are a couple pics of what is happening to the new growth.

I respect your thoughts @Sueet as far as Re-potting, it is so spindly and I do have other plants that are not having issues I would not miss it. I'm not dismissing your advise if I were in a different situation I would do exactly that. I just thought it would be better to be safe than sorry if it is some sort of fungus to just do away with it.

Edit: I did not buy this seed so I'm at no loss if I kill it off. All I will loose is the effort and grow time. I feel the learning is worth more to me now than the plant it's self.

Thought I would post a full view of the plant. I have talked with the wife and she said kill it before I even finished my sentence. I said I would wait a bit and see what the thoughts were on the board first.

Like I said it is a spindly looking plant compared to the others I have going. I also have it tagged as a possible male in my notes for that reason.

Idk, I would be guessing. Curious what you used to amend the soil before reusing it, did all plants get the same amendments? I am a little surprised at a plant that big that hasn't shown any female tendencies already tho >.>
Tbh if the wife said kill it, I think that's all she wrote :D

At the time I amended this soil I was new to amending so I am sure I made mistakes. I used chicken manure, horse manure, bagged garden soil, Calcium, Epson salts and compost. Yes I used the same for all my plants and they are doing fine. I take that back, I had some calcium and manganese defs in 2 other plants and when treated they popped right back by adding some extra calcium and Epson salts. They looked very similar to this one but, this one did not react the same. It is why I was thinking it was a nute issue like you said. May be I added too much and have nute lock out....

I do have some big plants this year, unlike last years crappy dwarf plants. For example These 2 plants have the same soil...

Started showing Female last week

I do respect your input and Thank you! I have no clue how to read a Mulder's Chart it is just a circle with lines and arrows to me. :D

The pictures of your leaves with the circular brown dots of yuck on your fan leaves made me think of mold, not the mottled look of seporia. Treat for mold on one side and see what happens.

I'm not seeing mold but, I do know it can be non visible depending on the type or other fungal infection. Wouldn't the mold treatment also treat some fungal issues as well? Would be my first time using them....

yes, a lot of them are multipurpose. The reason I said mold is the spore usually causes a dark spot surrounded with a circle of leaf damage. Has it been wet around there?

It was in the spring and we had 4 days of rain with high humidity about 3 3 1/2 weeks ago. Come to think about it it started getting really bad around the time of that heavy rain a month ago. What would you recommend... Just a peroxide solution?

I'm not capable of really using it either, I understand it on an intellectual level (ok such and such locks out such and such, etc)... but then to see it on the plant and match it to the chart is the part I can't really do. No need to respect me, I'm a nobody, just tryin to help.

Thank you for all the help, this plant had Thrips so I treated that first, Today he showed his balls, Culled!
