Just a side view of the structure. I used coat hangers cut up with a hook in the end to tie the plant down in the beginning stages of growth , and now all I have to do is expose the sites I want, I did make a scrog to go in here to space everything out properly but I’m reluctant to install it on the plant ret. but she is the flattest canopy have have achieved yet, very proud of myself with this grow

Did a defoliation and just bending some stuff around a bit trying to maintain a good airflow through the canopy

Just a quick photo down in her down in her whole , I installed a conopt fan to keep things moving up top of the plant , there is an intake at soil level so we’re getting a great airflow

@Kingjoe83 Haha yeah man , this is my second indoor grow. My first grow I begged for 100 days and I mainlined them all I was a little over my head but in the 100 days I really learned a lot, but I did about 6 months research on grow weed easy.com before I planted a seed so I pretty much schooled myself but never put any of it into practice.also watching almost every big grower on YouTube I kinda took everything I liked from everyone and made it my own. I have become obsessed with growing and reading everything I can from anyone I can. I am so glad you got me to join this site, there is so many stiffest styles and ways to grow and everyone is all getting good results. This place is a goldmine if information, it’s just an added bonus that everyone is so willing to help in this family of growers.

She is starting to recover from defoliation
You almost can’t tell she got defoliated, it’s getting close to Time to top dress my gaja green organic dry amendments. I’ll put a detailed photo and show how I do it .

I decided to super crop everything that was taller then the rest , it will give enough time for everything else to catch up while it recovers from all that got super cropped.
I have not done this before but I’ve done a lot of research so if you see me doing something that doesn’t seem right feel free to let me know , I am open to suggestions.

So this brings us up to yesterday which is day 55 from seed breaking ground , this grow is now up to date and all my postings from now on will be a little more detailed because I’m not trying to play catch up, thanks for all your time and advice I really appreciate everyone who took thie time out of their day to check out my journal.

I'll be doing some supercropping in a month or so too-LST helps, but it's going to take
more than that to keep my plants short enough to stay in their home.
Your plants are all looking super happy-how many do you have going right now?

Hey do you wash your fruits at harvest time bud?

Hope all is good sorry been busy working you know the game ! Brings bit of anxiety to me at times but hey step outside the box right ?

Hope all is green slowly but surely right ?

Hey do you wash your fruits at harvest time bud?
Not sure if you're asking me or Dean, but I'll answer anyway.:)

No,I don't,unless they were grown outside, and had a bug problem when they "died"-so actually only did it once, when I had a bad aphid infestation...found out aphids don't wash out of the buds,so that 4 ounces got vacuum packed and stuck in the freezer to use later (for something, not sure what)
Growing indoors, all I'm going to get on the buds is a few stray cat hairs and a little dust,so I'm not going to worry about it.
I don't spray the buds with anything, ever,so there's not much to wash off...

No ,it didn't hurt the potency at all.
Bud washing doesn't wash off the trichomes, kind of like soap and hot water doesn't wash the "sticky" off your fingers after trimming up some bud...You need a solvent of some sort-if you used a scrub brush on them, then yes, you'd knock off some trichomes, but just dipping them and shaking them around underwater doesn't hurt them a bit.
In my case ,it didn't help with the bugs either,so I don't see much point in doing it.
Some folks swear by it,I'm just not one of them...

Hey Dean ,
Plants are looking tip top!
Lovely , best of luck mate.
Not that you need it.... All good.

Carcass sumed it up.

But I agree outdoor I will always wash indoor preference. Just curious more then anything .

There is a thread called docs bud washing if your interested.

Plant bounced back nicely from the heavy defoliation and super-cropping there’s some nice “moose nuckles” developing
Now I am kinda at a point where there plant is too big for my space bucket , width wise. I will not have enough room for flower , so this plant may get finished out in my 2x4 , and I’ll throw another plant in the space bucket, I do want to do a start to finish grow in it , just never have done one yet, now I know I can’t go more then 8 colas , if I didn’t too the 10 that I originally had I could have pulled it off , but there are about 20+ tops on this plant. So this grow has been switched to my plan B and to run it to it’s full potential in the tent, I have now stuck 1 black dog and 1 3 blue kings clones that have just been put in soil after being rooted and there starting to get their stride. But I will keep updates on the mint choc og regardless where it is , but I am very disappointed I couldn’t finish it in the space bucket. I plan to use it for a veg spot eventually and my 2x4 for flower and every 30 days I’m gonna pop one in flower tent until I have 4 and let them run so I’m not harvesting 4 at once. Did that and it was way too hectic for me to do myself.

You can’t even tell it was suppercropped except the moose nuckles , this is when I decided to throw it in the tent , I watered ph@6.8 today

She’s in her new home now , I have 4 mint choc og clones going and 4 Amherst sour d going , I am going to take 4 more off the other sour d just in case she’s a prize. But the Amherst sour d are for one of my family members so they will be leaving soon
DF3DDAB5-664E-4307-947D-9F47498346B2.jpeg
There is 2 mars hydro 300 in this tent atm , I will have 3 for flower. Hopefully I’ll have my mars hydro 144 reflector all fixed up to throw in here soon enough
B5EDACBD-5B20-4AC4-9A6D-CF71317B1FF2.jpeg

So I will be starting a new space bucket plant and I will not have as many mains as there are in the mint choc og, I’m gonna do 8 mains, I do plan on getting a light meter to see how big the sweet spot is in my space bucket, just to maximize the growth of my future plants
Thanks for taking the time and reading this. I really do enjoy growing, and I’m starting to enjoy journaling my grows, hopefully the next one I’ll be able to really get the writing part down, was always good in math never English. Thanks guys and gals and happy growing
