This is my 2x4 set up , I have a few others on the go, I’m just sticking to the simple journal for my first one . It’s already challenging enough with my busy life

Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I am , I’d you have any tips please share in open to wisdome, this is my second run ever indoors and outdoors I just set and forgot till harvest so this is all new, I did a lot of research prior from creeping people like you guys , thanks 420 fam

Looking good,Dean-nice flat canopy on that girl, if she stays that way till she's done, the
buddage is going to be a sight to behold!
I've been meaning to ask you-what is that material on top of the soil-is it to hold moisture in, keep bugs out-or something else?

So I am excited I am able to do this tonight , so last night I did some lst to her and tied down some branches she was pretty crowded. She is now in the 2x4 under 2 mars 300s , and she seems to really like the new hole I noticed a lot of new growth, the Rh is higher in my tent less passive air then the apace bucket. I really need to up-pot this plant soon.

I can’t believe how big she’s getting
I decided to do some defoliation, and adjust some ties add some more to really flatten the canopy out

Thank you guys and gals for all your positive feed back, and advise, this place has a wonderful atmosphere. It’s just an added bonus that we are all mature and show respect to one another’s growing styles and methods, there are so many ways to go and guess what ?! EVERYONE is getting good results. The past 2 nights I didn’t get home until 10:30 pm so I didn’t have time to do any updates but I did take a min to snap a few photos, I have 10 clones that are now rooted so I’m gonna pick the best ones to make mother’s of and the rest are going outside to grow , I’m gonna set and forget. I’m gonna mix my own soil and put some lime to manage ph level just roughly , but I won’t be spending much time in them, I don’t want them to get found so the less I see them the better , but I’m gonna pic the best ones of and I’m gonna keep them in veg under a small light just to keep em going until flower , just in case I get a prized pheno type.

I put them both in 1 gal root pouches
I didn't know what root pouches were when you mentioned them a page
or 2 back-figured if I just waited,I'd find out....

I think you should start a fresh journal for the Blue Kings and the Black Dog,then just update it weekly or semi-weekly,when you find a little chunk of time- You definitely don't want it to become a chore that you don't look forward to doing... just my 2 cents...
The BK's might of been in bad shape when you got them, but they're over that now - They've got that "I wanna grow big" look to them now :bravo:

So today is transplant day, I went from planting this grow in a 3gal pot to go in my space bucket( which was my first attempt at a space bucket grow) well I let the plant get too big and topped one to many times. Ext time I know 5-8 colas max for a space bucket. But that is all said and done.
Now I plant on running this plant as big as I can so I went and got a 10gal smart pot and I purchased a trellis. I plant on scrog if it to fill my 2x4 grow tent I am already on day 72 of veg might as well go big or go home

First of all to prep my soil, I’m using homegrown hydroponics very own organic super soil ( the local grow store) I add 25% perlite, and I used 10 gal of soil +2.5 gal of perlite ( 2 gal was used for my clone transplants) so for 10 gal I used 4 table spoons or 60ml per 1gal of medium , I don’t count the perlite as the medium in my calculation.
. FB37BC42-B0EB-4C38-9BE3-53A0B94C3B49.jpeg
So I use 75% of the all purpose 4-4-4 and 25% power bloom 2-8-4
3951F06E-ECB4-4940-B3AA-C525B8B0C593.jpeg
I mixed thoroughly broke down all chunks of medium and the dry amendments so I don’t get any hot spots. Then I add my perlite and mix again

This is the reason I love fabric pots , there are now wrapping roots no chance of ever being root bound , I could have probably continued using this 3 gal but I’d have to water multiple times a day when it gets bigger.

So continuation

I couldn’t believe how heavy this 10 gal pot is I did the transplant in the basement and i was worried the handles were going to rip going up my stairs

So my beautiful girl is in her final home now I’m gonna run this plant another 5 weeks until all the amendments are starting to get used up and I will switch to a 50/50 % mix of the all purpose/ power bloom

Sunday

So yesterday we had some big changes to my unicorn( my beautiful mint chocolate OG by humboldt seed organization, I decided to drop her into a 10 gal root pouch to see this plant explode, so today I decided to install my scrog net, which this will be my first time using a scrog , and also only being my second indoor grow ever, so any help on SCROG techniques would be very helpful, and please don’t be shy to tell me if I’m doing something wrong here,

So since I took all the ties off she sucked herself back into the centre, I notice that 2 of my branches cracked from the stalk slightly so I took a rubber tie and pulled them in together. Hopefully she heals but if not I’ll cut them off and make clones of what’s on it

Just a little side view love , she’s got some bangin curves
B090E669-A3D1-4B4A-AF59-1F0D870186CB.jpeg

I really do think this plant is going to really fill this tent out , I’ve mostly grown indica dom plants because I like to smoke at night I have a hard time sleeping and it really helps, I think she’s gonna take a while to fill this tent out. I have a few sativa a started in the same tent, but the 3 blue kings is growing so fast I can’t believe it, it says outdoors this plant can hit the 4-6000 gram yield ( yes that is no typo)
But I am really excited about this mint choc og and have seen some incredible quality come from these plants off other growers
F2AB1548-4A54-4F12-9710-5C3BBB2106FE.jpeg

I decided today I was going to install the SCROG net in , 3 1/2 inch x3 1/2 inch squares , so before I did install it I vacuumed the tent out and whipped it down with organic cleaners and rinsed it with r/o water, then let dry

I then installed the SCROG but it was loose and sloppy looking so I took a roll of Gardner twist tie and I weaved it in around the edges and tied them into the hooks the SCROG was tied into( I got the hooks from a bought SCROG but it missed 6” around the whole tent , so I repurposed them
