If it breaks no worries bro it's just a light I can't replace that not you man.

If you change mind let me know if you got room and think you can control heat mount the fusion board driver out of tent barely any heat from actual board . Very intenseight equals froth to me ?
 
Yeah man I constantly get rid of lower shit all the grows that’s there is getting direct light due to my defoliation , but I’m gonna take another round of clones and then get rid of everything that isn’t going to produce and like you said anything below that trellis will be gone , last grow I didn’t lollipop and it defiantly affected my bottom linear the end of the grow , so I’ve been really being conscious about what I’m keeping and what is wasting energy. But I can wait how this plant reacts when I switch it to flower , some phenos barley stretch and others stretch like sativas so it will be exciting to see what happens.

Your such a solid dude man , so in my 2x4 If I used the reflector and a fusion board I would get better results then using the mars hydro 300?? , even if I used 2 pause the 144 reflector ??

@Kingjoe83 @Pennywise I don’t know if penny seen the talk of the fusion board. So if I run both the mars 300 and the 144 and have them centre of the tent will the buds on the very outsides of my tent be as good as the ones in the centre or should I have the mars 144 to the one side and run 2 mars 300 beside it ??

So this is the one way I was thinking but with my lux meter my inside canopy gets almost 10 000 lux more then the outside canopy

Would this be too much light if I ran it like this
My first grow with HID I had same problem plants under the light were perfect while outside ones were fluffy

I have enough lights I could do this but I would have to test it to see if I can keep the temps down, I just want the same readings on the outside as the inside of my canopy

What do you guys thinks I have 3 mars 300 full spectrums and 1 mars 144 , I really wanted to use 1 or 2 to veg with but I also want this harvest to be the best quality I can produce and I don’t want lack of light being an issue, I do have a lux meter that’s comparable with led thanks to @Kingjoe83 makes things a little easier

I angled my fusion board it was in a corner that didn't really have much use for plants so I had them on the rachet hangers to the board fusion and had pulled two up higher on one side slightly to anhle the light towards the plants.

It seemed to work out its about even coverage and trying to get even par all around and not loosing much ppfd. Really .

So how much space @DeanWest89 .do you have from the top of your plant at its highest to the lights currently ?


Then answer me how much room.do you have still from.thr top of your light to where you can't pull it up any higher , remember you need to leave at least a few inches 6-8 I do so the fans can work properly.

Also helps to aim a fan at the lights fans make sure your testing those fans to hear or listen to them make sure they are working for safety reasons .
 
So after taking my measurements I have 30” between the highest growth to 6 inches below the top of my tent , my fan will be mounted outside the tent I’ll put the carbon filter in the tent but it is small I’ll make it work , I’m going to make a board out of plywood and going to mount it on there and put it on the roof of the tent, my scrog is at 20”above floor and I won’t let my plant get more the 4” about it without tucking into my 3” squares , so everything could stretch 28 inches up and I would still have 1’3” for my lights and fans an carbon filter. My fans blowing air attach to my poles I will have 1 under the canopy moving air and 2 about kiddy cornered to keep air circling around . So I’m pretty sure I will be able to get away will all lights in the tent, I will move grow to my basement where it’s almost 10 degrees cooler then upstairs, and I think the cooler might temps will bring some beautiful colours out in this strain. @Kingjoe83 @Pennywise does it seem like I’ve done the math okay with doing a scrog I can keep everything as low as possible so I don’t run out of room ( my worst fear in this 5’3” grow tent , last one I had was a 4x4x6’7” so I was really worried coming into this grow but I’ve managed to keep things as low as possible , think I have the original space bucket idea set me up perfectly. I don’t thing I would have room to get 3 lights in length in the tent I got 2 in like how my first pic is and there’s only 3 inches

Environment- 27degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 55% , I have 2 fans bilowing above canopy and 1 below to keep things moving nice

Small update today- hey everyone welcome to another day in my world of growing I went through the tent and literally got rid of everything I didn’t think would increase my yields , I took a final round of clones off this girl , I think about 20 in total, I cut the damn scrog while trimming so I’m gonna size up another one , will be more careful in the future

I watered today ph’d @6.7 the girls were real thirsty. There pots were all light today , I usually don’t like to completely dry the pots out before watering but I was trying something new to see how things act . I have a feeling I will have to do more regular compost tea feedings, since the microbial life will go dormant or die off. But a well known member suggested I let them dry out drying veg , I will take the advice from this organic genius.

Today I did a heavy defoliation and like I said I took clones but she looks very bare today , I’m gonna let her fill back I and switch to flower , I thing the stretch will fill my canopy wall to wall and if it doesn’t I will run a few smaller plants to fill the space

She’s got a real dark colour I would like to see them a little lighter but not showing signs of burn or anything drastic , still trying to dial in the organic amendments
(My 3 blue kings is showing the claw right now so I know next time up pot to go lighter on my ratio.

So this is before the trim and I noticed a lot of small growth that really is wasting energy so I got rid of most except for decent cola sites

She looks very bare and tortured but there will be a lot more room for airflow in this tent and more room for each one to fatten up in flower I think

This is my final round of clones I will be taking from this girl , I’m gonna set up a small veg spot downstairs to veg my next plants for flower , so I’ll hopefully be able to just flower them right away when this is done
