Growing Cannabis 101: Mint Chocolate OG, HSO, Organic Super-Soil, 25% Perlite, Gaja Green Organics, 3 Mars 300s &1 Mars 144, Equal Par Wall To Wall

Hey I left some supersoil outside and want to know if anyone knows a way to get right of any hitchhikers from it I don’t want to bring bugs in the house.
 
I wonder if I just let it dry right out and put it in a black bag in the sun for a week if the heat would kill the hitch hikers.
 
Hey everyone I am trying to figure out a way to keep a couple small mother plants tucked away in a closet with just minimal light to keep them going , does anyone have any ideas on some small veg spaces ??
 
Thanks penny , I was thinking something along the line of a diy build maybe a couple cfls just to keep em going . My space bucket would work just a little small for a few plants and with the led I have on it I need 3 feet of height above the canopy so it’s real tall , maybe I’ll Manu factor a cfl too for it and just get another main bucket and have 2 going but I just want to hear everyone else’s ideas

Climate in the punisher (grow tent)- temperatures are 21 degrees Celsius for the low and 27 degrees Celsius for the high temp tent is currently at 25 degrees , relative humidity’s low for today is 45% and the high is 80% currently sitting at 54% relative humidity I have 3 fans blowing inside the tent and and exhaust tent for good airflow 2 fans at canopy height and 1 fan above the led lights to keep air moving nice to eliminate hot spots , on the canopy and around the lights.


Update- hey everyone hope your having a good day, it’s been a few days since the major stripping and things are back to normal , she has completely filled in with foliage again. I cut out the SCROG during my last defoliation I accidentally cut through my scrog in 2 places so I’m gonna have up a new one when I miss the tent to the basement, it’s a lot cooler down there, so when I hang my mars 144 and 3 mars 300s in my grow tent I will have no problem with battling the heat , it’s more humid down there aswell so it won’t struggle with humidity, I also have a humidifier down there just in case it gets too humid especially for flowering. So I think this is a good time to jump into this weeks photos of this monster :meatballs:


So every time I open my tent my car has to come say hello and when I remove a plant he is sun bathing in the leds he enjoys sitting in the sun so I think it says a lot for leds when he likes to bath in the light just as he would in the sun, this cat is like a dog and will come when called , he’ll stay when told and he will fetch , best cat I’ve had by far , and he approves of the tent as well, he’s my gardening buddie. Everything looks a little crammed inside of her but when the scrog goes back in she’ll open up nicely

She has reacted to the stripping exactly how I expected , vegging a plant for 98 days so far you tend to learn a lot about the strain what it likes and doesn’t like and how to manipulate her to go into over drive to produce more foliage , after every stripping she explodes with new grow, it’s the most useful trick I have ever learned , once all your major training and tipping is done and your just trying to fill the space st that point , but I have had plants that get really stressed out by it so start off small at first and see how they react before you go and strip 90% of the leafs like I have done. Also I have a very well established root zone that is the key. BIG ROOTS =BIG FRUITS even if I cut off 100%!of the leafs at this point she would push new ones out very fast to try to get more food from the light, the plants goal is photosynthesis. But that’s a whole other conversation.

Or h202 strong dose or neem oil flush through?
 
I wanted to be able to do it in a way to save them but I could always flush big time after with water ph6.8 and once’s it drys out again I could re inoculate the soil , but I just don’t know much about need oil would it make the soil harsh for microbes to live in after it’s been flushed out. I shouldn’t have put the tote outside , I open the lid an see a couple bugs fly out probably fungus nats ??
 
I’ve heard of Neem oil foliar spray but haven’t researched about using it in soil

Ebay Dean, 2 x 19w philips led globes.
fit normal house fittings but 2300 lumens each. My mum, clone area only needs two. 60cm x 120cm. ....1.2m tall.
Get a secondhand cupboard, flat white,paint inside, drill a few holes in back down low for air in, cover with flyscreen, hole in top...for fan-filter... Done.

Oh , Neem oil can be used as a soil drench, probably best way to treat that stuff.... Use luke warm water, one drop of dish liquid,as it breaks water tension.
flush whole bag outside, drain, move in, done.
Leave bag a week or two, then use if worried...Just flush before,you use once.
I drench roots with neem if have gnats, neem is systemic, so it will be uptaken , go into roots and leaves. Drech rates are different to spray rates, just be careful.
Plants love a lil neem, dunno why...

Never a prob Dean. Should be a spray and drench rate on back of neem oil.
Cold pressed neem only, is best grade.

And sorry brother, your plants look amazing... I was more trying to help with ya prob, sidetracked stoner...hehe.
