Graytail's Cupwinners in High Brix Soil - 4x4 - 600W HPS - Perpetual

Ay papi. viva panama

everybody's acting lazy
Falling out and hangin' 'round

¡es hora de fiesta!

i have heard that panama is the jawn. i killed 2 $$ panama fems last summer ouch.

i need to try again and succeed. Amazing gray...did you start w reg beans?

This was a fem seed - bought one - sprouted one - y el éxito!

I think I'm going to cry again...:dreamy::dreamy::dreamy:

I've been wanting a purple, and this one will do ... yum!

Your Panama looks different in a good way than the strain I grew, but your Tangerine Dream looks different in a bad way. I bet you get a decent buzz off it, though. Too bad about the Wild Thailand too; mine wasn't too bad. Must be why they're giving them away free these days, huh?

If only it'd been a freebie - I paid for that bogus Wild Thailand!

Ain' that purple Panama purdy?! :cheesygrinsmiley: The terpenes are thick enough to choke on - she's a keeper, fer shure.

And the TD is starting to grow on me a bit ... sorta. The calyxes have that "look" to them - I can kinda feel the buzz in my nose. And it looks like it may produce a decent yield. Dunno. I'm just going to work the kit as best I can and see what happens. ... Sandlewood?

Thanks for the reps!

It's suddenly a really popular strain on the forum.

I bought mine as a single from Herbie's. I may go for one of the hybrids next seed order, or Ace's Double Thai also looks interesting if I feel like running another 18 weeker. I like Ace's catalog and breeding program.

Good luck with yours!

*double post*

And why waste it ... ? Here's a pic of Utopia Haze under hps.

potchimp...maybe not the same as 70s thai. but other ace beans were legit for me.

i recall that 70s thai stick as being real spicy and trippy and considered special and rare....deservedly.
i think it could have been one of the first sinsemillas around these parts at that time.

lets bring it back!

It won't make it much past my lungs if I can manage to replicate it; sorry..... ;)

I just remembered that I haven't done a smoke report on White Panther yet. :cheesygrinsmiley:

This strain is a winner on all fronts. It's very well behaved with a typical hybrid growth pattern - very easy to grow - and for those who like taller plants, this one has especially strong stems. It finished 10.5 weeks from the flip, 9 weeks from pistil set, and I could easily have taken it a few days earlier. Its cuttings root especially well. :cheesygrinsmiley:

As it grew, the strain had a pronounced mint aroma, but the buds are classic lemon diesel. Of the strains I've smoked, this one's bouquet is one of the stronger ones, only behind Jamaican Dream and perhaps Panama - won't know until Panama cures. If you smoke a lot of it, your lips will taste lemony as well as anything you sip from a glass. :cheesygrinsmiley: The buzz is strongly sativa, very sociable - less social than Indian Skunk, but much stronger. It feels like classic old school Mexican - it rings bells from back then. It's not a completely clear-headed high, but you can wake n bake with it. It's the sort of strain I'd bring out before a dinner with guests, or some evening party - a nice comfortable, relaxing stone.

For a commercial grow, this would be easy and profitable. I got 3.67 oz off a 22 inch plant in 135 days.

those are some great pics you took and the that panama looks unbelievable!!! id love to get my hands on some of that.
+REP for the report...they are always appreciated!!!!:Namaste:

Ace Panama is dry and in the jar. It weighed in at 70 grams, 2.47oz over 115 days = 0.609 grams per day. :rocker:

I'm really pleased with the way this strain grew. I had done a little research on it before I placed my seed order, but it wasn't until I sprouted it that I seriously checked it out. Panama has a rich breeding history which causes it to throw off all sorts of fascinating phenos, and I apparently got a very rare one - an odd red pheno producing leaves with magenta undersides. The terpenes are extraordinary on this one, probably from the HB soil, but it's apparently typical of Panama.

I can highly recommend another strain. Seriously folks, you gotta run Panama - it's delightful.

Cat Drench that thing!

Doc, this is an odd one - got me confused - it looks like it's ready to finish. It got its first Cat drench 12 days ago, 23 days after it set pistils, and it reacted well, but ... It's supposed to be a 12 week strain, and now it looks ready to finish in 9. That'd be a week and a half from now, so no time for another drench. Unless ... I'm misinterpreting its look and it can revive flowering ... ? Fan leaves are turning yellow and pistils are browning ... buds are plump ... all I'm missing is a trich explosion.

So ... drench? ... transplant? I have 2.5 weeks at most, unless it restarts.

Just where might one find this rare little bean if she were to look.... :dreamy::dreamy::dreamy:

The breeder is Ace Seeds - should be able to get it from any seller, though. This was a single feminized.

2 more mature seeds fell onto the tray as I was snipping buds for the jar - that's 3 so far. :yahoo:
