Graytail's Cupwinners in High Brix Soil - 4x4 - 600W HPS - Perpetual

Looking good as always Gray.

Good eye, thanks, and thanks for the reps! I see the ones in the second pic - I think the others are new pistils. Yeah, she's been growin' nanners and I've been plucking 'em. I'm going to chop her any day now, anyway.
Ok I don't understand......:scratchinghead::scratchinghead: What does this mean??? I thought it was a female.... Remember the blonde thing.... Talk real slow and don't use big words. Really would you explain for me please..

Thanks so much, Light Addict! I sampled the Panama tonight and I am very impressed.

Dennise, cannabis produces two kinds of pollen organs. One is the typical round male pollen sac, produced either by males or hermies. But late in flower, and under stress, a female will produce another kind. It resembles a banana, a thin yellow curved shape with a crease down the side, containing pollen with female DNA. The plant isn't a hermie - it doesn't produce male pollen organs - but it will still pollinate your crop. The good side is that these are the precursors to female seed. If I had a sealed place to finish this one, I'd let it pollenate itself. It's as good as finished now but I want to drag it out a little longer, so I'm just plucking the nanners as I find them.

Ha!

And speaking of which, look what I just found in the bud of Panama I've been sampling:

This is so cool! I have a fem seed from a feminized Panama Red!

And I bet there are more coming ...

Ooo, and it's a really fast pheno ...

And it's sticky and inhales like piney cedar and exhales like orange chocolate ...

I am so pumped!

:yahoo:

LOL! :tokin:

I've been sampling new bud ... and, ya know, the tolerance thing ... so I got buzzed on the Panama, trying to identify its taste and aroma ...

And then I needed to see how it's different from Jamaican Dream ... :blunt:

So, I got toasted.

But ... apparently my taste bud memory fired up 'cause I have another name for this pineapple salsa flavor from the JD that I can't identify. It's grape! For pete's sake, it's grape.

... I think. It is if you smoke a bunch of Panama first ...

Well done brother. There's nothing like growing your own, especially when it's good.

You're inspiring me to pop some Columbian Red. The gold kicked my ass and I surrendured. But the red is supposedly similar to the old Panama Red....at least somewhat. Obviously you like your, so what the heck?

Darned good idea.

I was surprised that you couldn't corral that Gold - what a beast. I honestly don't know what to think of this Panama. I bet it wouldn't have gone past 5 feet if I'd just grown it up, and it was as good as finished last week at 8 weeks from flip. That's an unusual pheno.

And I like it - terpenes galore! This is the first cedar I've tasted, as well as the chocolate exhale. It's a rich mixture of acidic and carmel palates.

I love your passion for our plant. I've got a feeling you're going to have some fun in the coming year with growing, as am I. Life is good.

I was surfing the interwebs for Thai Stick images and found some good ones. This is what I smoked back in the mid-70s:

And here's what the plant looks like:

That's it Gray! That's the Thai stick I remember. Never had one that long b4 though as my buddys & I could only afford the dimes. LOL
