potchimp...maybe not the same as 70s thai. but other ace beans were legit for me.
i recall that 70s thai stick as being real spicy and trippy and considered special and rare....deservedly.
i think it could have been one of the first sinsemillas around these parts at that time.

Dried weight for Bland Topeka was 104 grams, 2.36 ounces in 105 days for 0.638 grams per day.

Oh that looks so pretty.... This go round with the bag seed may not be that pretty but I'm hoping the group girls will and I know the new seeds will just got to get em' going. You have inspired me.....

It's update Monday!
Wow, this Ace Panama is killer! Not only does it grow leaves with purple undersides, it's fast and short, it has deliciously complex pine/cedar/citrus/vanilla/sandlewood terpenes, and it grabs you at the first exhale and holds on firmly. This one doesn't let you forget you're under its influence. And it flowered like an OG, all lumpy and knobby and swollen. The washed buds are thick and firm and very sticky - it might be a high yielder. I have its clone, Pana1, in 12/12 - gonna be bigger than mama - and another on deck. This one's a keeper! And I have a beautiful seed!
Panama - 115 Days - 69 days 12/12 - 54 since pistils - brix 14/15
It looks like the next harvest will be Utopia Haze. My my, this one grew up to be an elegant exotic beauty! It's as if you took away all the extra stuff like leaves and little branches, and just designed a framework for a couple dozen big buds to grow. There ain' nuthin extra on this plant.
It got one shot of Cat drench a week ago - not sure if I'll give it another - the buds reacted vigorously, fattening up fast, and brix rose dramatically to 15/16. I think she's good.
Utopia Haze - 92 Days old - 49 days 12/12 - 30 days since pistils - brix 15/16
Tangerine Dream has adopted a strong sandlewood aroma ... ? Tangerine? ... sandlewood? But it's looking pretty good. She got her Cat drench over the past 2 feedings and is thickening now - not as much as Utopia, but reacting. There's still another month to go on this one, though, so I have plenty of time to work on it.
Tangerine Dream - 114 Days old - 56 days 12/12 - 40 since pistils - brix 12/12
SLH Reveg, JD4 and WP1 are all finishing their stretch and fully into flower with 5-6 weeks to go. I'm impressed with how well the SLH is doing with all those thin stems - she'll probably yield more the second time. The first run was in mineralized soil, so it should be interesting to see how the same plant matures in Hb soil.
SLH Reveg - 225 days old - 28 days 12/12 - 18 since pistils - brix 12/13
JD4 is doing quite well. Her brix popped up to 13/14 this week, 10 days from showing pistils - good sign - she's hooked up.
JD4 - 138 days old - 21 days 12/12 - 11 days since pistils - brix 13/14
WP1 really put on a pistil show this last week. It had been running a little slower than JD4, but caught up fast.
WP1 - 98 Days old - 21 days 12/12 - 11 since pistils - brix 11/11
Pana1 is totally in the groove, hooked up, with the program! She grew almost 5 inches last week, and her brix is still reading 14/15. Suweet.
Pana1 - 69 days old - 7 days 12/12 - brix 14/15
The seedlings have settled comfortably into their new homes and are in the groove, growing 2 inches last week.
Grapefruit - 32 days
Cotton Candy - 32 days
Carnival - 31 days
Pana2 is still depressed. As soon as she perks up, I'll top her.
Pana2 - 69 days old
My cuts look awful! I think the problem was sitting on the concrete floor where it was just too cold. By the time I realized they weren't doing well, things got iffy. I put them in pots, but nothing much has changed yet. Keeping my fingers crossed on these.
