Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

I want to grow like you when I grow up (other than the Desfran). :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yeah... Wow Graytail, they're behaving nicely for you. Reps for maintaining such excellent control. Those are some beautiful specimens.

Hey, give the wife a fist bump with sparkles at the end :laughtwo: . The daughter and I will be laughing about that for days.

Thanks for saying so, Major :cheesygrinsmiley: And thanks for not mentioning all the burnt and yellowing foliage on the others, too. :;): :laughtwo:

We need a fingers-crossed smiley ... :smokin2: Glad you see the Tim Burton design style! :laughtwo:

The silver buds up & down all the branches look like guided missiles ready to launch! Beautiful!:Namaste:

I haven't told you how pleased I am that you follow my journal! :thanks: You have some serious growing skills. :thumb:

I stopped by this morning for another fix. :laughtwo: You get such beautiful color on your pictures Graytail. I admire the consistency of your posts. I've learned a lot watching you from the sidelines. Just wanted to thank you for the consistency, I suppose.

I really just wanted to stroll thorough all that lusciousness again before I started a new day.

Promise me you'll keep spoiling us like this. :battingeyelashes:

Have a good day Graytail. :ciao:

His transparency as well! :)

Double up that good day for a great day Graytail! :thumb:

Amen. Transparency is desirable. It's never all sunshine and roses, is it?

Duggan, one of your many charms is persistence. I admire your quest to give more root space not only to your own plants but to all the rest of the unfortunate ones forced by us to live their lives in cramped quarters. You keep it up. Sooner or later we're going to start paying attention. I'm doubling one from 7 to 15 gallons, so you're already having an effect. :high-five:

:tokin: Thanks Gray.....I just know that if we all just freekin DO IT, everyone will be much happier!Cheers my friend.:high-five:

I know I always feel like I'm attending class and this is one of my favorites. I'm certain I'm not the only one among us who watches on Mondays. :laughtwo: You should see my notes. Honestly, this site! I haven't taken notes like this since college.

Wow those are some lovely ladies. :goodjob:

I enjoy your updates GT, it's like walking through my dream garden each week! You have so many varieties that are teaching me how each one grows.

:peacetwo::green_heart:

Thanks all! I'm a nut about attractive photos. Graytail likes him some pretty pictures! :slide: I keep marveling over some of the overhead shots with that crazy shine coming off the blue-hued leaves. :thedoubletake: It's under a blue-temp overhead florescent with the camera flash, so that contributes some blue, but still ...

Mornin Gray....Was wondering if your gonna put Mrs. Desfran in a bigger pot for her finish or let her just go with what she's in now?Cheers pal and have a great day eh!

I just don't love this one enough to mess with her anymore - just want her finished and outta here. :cheesygrinsmiley: But I keep making plans for three big plants in my one meter Mars-Hydro tent. I haven't set it up yet because I'm going to have to squeeze it into a space with a notch out of one corner, so I'll have to rework the poles n stuff. I'll lose about a square foot from one corner, leaving room for three big plants. I could fit 15s into there, easily, and maybe even 25s if I can figure out how to manage them. The tent will have to be about a foot off the floor, and I don't want to think about hefting 25 gallons of soil up and down outta there. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I also just figured out a way to use those sterilite crates yesterday! The thing is, they're 15x13 but only 10 inches deep, so they don't hold much more soil than my pots, but ... if I fix a pole in each corner, that will hold the corners of a taller bag! 15 inches of height would get me over 12 gallons in about the same floor space as my 6 gallon pots. :slide: Who says loadies are dense, eh?

Gray...have ya thought at all about getting some plant trollies? I've got them under my 26ers and lemy tell ya, I just love em pal! Spin em, move em, whatever...just can't lift em is all! Cheers eh!

Yeah, that's the thing that gives me pause. If I run 25s, they're gonna stay right where they are for the whole bloom. :laughtwo: And wheels don' help. But I hadn't thought about the swivel. :hmmm: At least I could turn them to get at everything ...

Thanks!

Ya mon! I can't lift mine anywhere iether pal! I like em for the spin every other day....really helps equal things out ,if ya know what i mean....they're priceless, believe me...once ya use em, you'le always use em. Just makes it a lil easier, that's all. If your opening to the GR is big enough ,you can just pull them outta there anyhow...no need to have to lift them.Cheers eh!

Cool, same footprint and more depth. That works out nicely. Thinking of making your own felt pots Graytail?

LOL, I actually fell asleep last night thinking about how to cut 'em and sew 'em. :laughtwo: Do I use lap seams? Zigzag or handsewn? :hmmmm:

I'm gonna use hollow poles for the posts, too, so I can drop rods, or even tomato cage legs, into them for built-in supports. :thumb:

Smart. PVC? For really good support I'd probably go with pipe.
