GratefulBud's Summer 2023 Outside Grow

What is the Dr Bronners mix again? I have some but I’ve never used it. And is it an apply wash off application?
I think you once mentioned having to balance your pots on a tower to spray the underside of the leaves, and I thought of that when I was neeming the clones this evening using this 1 gallon pump sprayer:

The wand makes it so you just point it up at the underside of the leaves without even having to bend. Just in case you hadn't sorted that problem out yet.

Omg!

FANTASTIC!

Where can I find that magical apparatus?!

I use the same. Works great!

I'm re-thinking the nets.

Right now I have 5 plants covered in nets; the Gorilla OG was too large so I left it open. When I sprayed Castile soap the other day I saw several lacewing bugs flying away from the Gorilla and it got me thinking - the nets keep pests out but it also keeps them in (and safe from the predators). Lacewing bugs eat more pests than ladybugs.

The Gorilla looks just fine - a few leaf hoppers but no more than the plants under nets. Maybe less. I'm thinking nature balances things out. I just need to stay on top of the BT spraying and I should be fine.

Good thinking. I just BT'd this morning!

It does naturally balance out. I've took the homeopathic approach before. If you wanna try an experiment, spray again on Thursday. That's when the moon sign is right for spraying pest.

How often do you spray?
When I sprayed it on my outdoor plants, I'd do it every other day...way too often, I'm sure- but, that's a nice thing about bt- you could spray it twice a day if you want to, and it won't hurt the plant at all

I think I'm once a week for the BT. I've also done spot spraying with .25% citric acid and spraying from below with castille soap.
Cool.
Citric acid for PM?

No moon?

Last year I sprayed about once per week but those plants were under nets. I'll spray all 6 this year but was not sure if I needed to spray the one without a net more often. I might.

Watermelon Kush
I slowly took off her dress to admire her bush, and decided to let her run naked.
She is the tallest of the 4 in soil but also the skinniest. Still larger than anything I've grown previously. She has always been a darker shade of green than the others. I'm trying to balance nutes with the yellowing lower leaves.

Looks like soap residue on a few fan leaves. Don't think it is PM.

Also saw this lacewing sitting on a leaf. I read they eat more pests than ladybugs. Go baby go!

Didn't see any leaf hoppers today but I saw a white jumping spider on Gorilla. Get some!

Looking good , I love predators insects 😊
Plus I think I had the wrong ladybirds on my plant,
The bush didn't look quite right 🤔🤔🧐
