Grateful Bud's Backyard Outdoor Grow - SFV OG

I've only used GeoFlora once, and I didn't flush...
I don't think it's necessary, because GF nutes are considered organic, and you don't want to flush out all the beneficial critters.
I believe they even recommend minimal runoff when you water, so you don't wash the microbes out.

Thanks Carcass!

I'm starting to think that my issues last year were partially caused by not adequately flushing FF nutes several times during the grow. GeoFlora seems a much easier way to grow.

Per GF themselves:
Oh man that sounds perfect for my situation. I am the under-watering King!
Plus we now have water restrictions here. You too? Automatic sprinklers 2 days per week max. Hand watering still OK.

I think the restrictions are city of LA so us here as well, though I have no lawns anymore! I water the trees and pots by hand, once a week.
My back lawn has been gone for a few years now. Front lawn is pretty close to dead now. Seriously thinking of doing drought landscaping out front. Or the fake grass. One of my neighbors just put in a fake lawn and it looks pretty good! Expensive as hell though.

We went with turf in front probably 5 or 6 years ago, and did the back about 3 years ago. No water, no gardener, no maintenance at all!
Nice!
Sometimes the artificial turf looks too fake for me. I'll have to ask my neighbor which one he used.

Hello. My name is Grateful Bud and I'm an under-waterer.

I first started under-watering a few years ago. It seemed like the right thing to do. Everyone was warning me against watering too much - so I didn't. Unfortunately that mindset continued well into flower and up to harvest. I don't think I have ever watered enough. Probably why my plants have stayed relatively small with light airy buds.

No more!

I have learned the error of my ways. This crop I've been watering / feeding more than previously. These plants are thriving! Even outdoors with the heat they are doing great! Although it has been a lot cooler this July vs. last year. Under 95˚F for the past few weeks which is very good.

I flushed all on Saturday and thought for sure I would have to water today. Nope. No signs of wilting yet. Rolling the dice and will water for sure tomorrow am.

Rock on!

I have come to realize that when growing - nothing happens by magic. You have to plan and research and stick to the plan. Then course correct when it all goes south!
LOL!
