Grateful Bud's Backyard Outdoor Grow - SFV OG

Could be a nute-sensitive pheno then. If you can't back the N off alone you could try cutting the nutes for that one plant 10% with water and see it helps.
Yeah I may do that. I fed this am and this afternoon she looks worse. I may giver her just (a little) water for a week.

I took some pics this morning so thought I would update. I fed nutes this am so the skirts came off.

Yesterday I trimmed Cindy's bush again. Too many larfy branches that won't amount to much.

Lori is showing clawing on several lower leaves. I have reduced the nitrogen and still seeing clawing leaves. Not sure what the issue is.

Flowers on Dawn

Julie and Janice are doing well - seeing some yellowing leaves. Julie stretched a bit so I added a wire loop to keep the netting off her top cola.

Happy healthy girls My friend. :welldone:
Forming well color is perfect.
You have very bushy strains.
I'd watch for any mold build up in the center buds on those really thick ones.
Some @Sierra Natural Science might be handy to have. ;)
Try and open them up as best you can.
I'm not saying trim anything. 🥺

Stay safe

Thanks Bill!
Yeah these are a bit bushier than the Wedding Cake I grew last year. I'm getting ready to open up the top of Dawn - she is the one where I just bent over the top cola.

A few days ago I removed some of her large fan leaves to bring more light to the lower buds.

Today I trimmed the shit out of Janice. She went into flower then back into veg and is bushy as hell. I pretty much lollipopped her same as her sister Julie. The stuff I removed was just thick single leaves and minimal flower. Prime for mold so it had to go. I'm hoping she stretches with fresh flower on the tips, otherwise it will be useless larf or worse moldy inside the colas.

Quick comparison between last year's Wedding Cake and this year's OG.

Last year:

This year:

Larger pot = larger plant! Sunny is about 6 inches taller and way bushier. Also note last year hardly any flowers and this year quite an abundance. Pics taken last year on 8-6-21. This year today 8-5.

Last year I was sitting on the patio smoking a doobie and listening to Pink Floyd (probably).
This year I was out on the patio smoking a doobie listening to David Gilmour (definitely).

Rest of the ladies.

Gave all hose water only this am until runoff.
This afternoon I sprayed with Safer, then rinsed off with lightly sprayed hose water. No sign of bugs but I'm taking no chances. Still seeing clawing on some leaves - mostly on Lori.

This guy does an AWESOME job of explaining the complexities of growing cannabis. If you have not watched some of his early videos on good bacteria check them out - excellent production quality.

Fascinating stuff all that organic fertilizer makings, but damn that's more steps than making bubble hash! And since he's in SoCal I kept thinking RO water is so wasteful (~25% efficiency) and I wondered what he's using all the waste water for if he's only using RO for his garden. :hmmmm:
CaliGreen puts out some excellent quality videos. I wonder about using RO water when regular tap water should be fine - it's what we water our other plants with. I stopped using filtered water and not seeing a difference. Maybe that damn clawing. LOL!

Have you been feeding much nitrogen?
in flower they only need a minor amount.
Could be the cause of your clawing.
- mostly on Lori.
Everyone looks very happy though.
Hope your having a nice weekend.

Hi Bill!
Yes I have reduced the nitrogen - no CalMag and less Big Bloom.
Everyone looks very happy though.

These girls are doing scary good IMHO. Way fewer bugs than previous grows. I put the netting on as soon as they had pistils. Last year all 3 plants went into flower early then back into veg. This year 2 plants did that - the two Jack Herer. The others kinda thought about it but stayed in veg.

Two of the OGs - Sunny and Dawn - started flowering around July 4th; the rest stayed in preflower for a few more weeks but they are catching up.

Have a great weekend!
Nice find in the organic fert making GB! He has a way of production in him that's natural to learn from for me!
Hi Stone!
I started watching CaliGreen when I first started growing and learned a LOT! Some of his early videos blew me away with his production quality.

This one in particular -

I may not agree with everything he says but his production quality is second to none.

Hello you wonderful people!

I've been out of town on business for the past week, and my wife has been watering for me. The girls look just ok.
Here they are after a Safer™ spray and shower afterward.

Sunny and Dawn are farthest along - here are their tops.

I'm seeing tiny black bugs. Really tiny and they jump rather than crawl. I also found one bigger bug - with legs he was the size of a cannabis seed. He had made a little egg sack or nest out of webbing or something. Not sure what the hell he was but I squished him

Then sprayed all with Safer.

I have no idea what that white stuff is. Hope it is not something very very bad.

Spark a doobie and have a great Friday night!

The wife is hired, tell her she did a great job.
Garden looks fantastic Amigo.
Don't know what that bug is sorry.
Hope you had a good trip.
Have a great weekend. :ciao:

I flushed 3 ladies this am, then fed nutes. I'll flush and feed the others tomorrow. They are all looking good. I just gotta keep the bugs away a few more weeks.
