Grateful Bud's Backyard Outdoor Grow - SFV OG

I was going to say heat stress maybe but your in the safe range didn’t know over watering could do it?
Hiya TC!

Yeah not sure what is causing leaves to claw. I’ve been struggling to dial in their water, but I always have that problem. The clawing is new so I’m thinking I was feeding slightly too much. I read that when the tips start turning brown that indicates too much nutes. So I’ll back off just a bit. Early flower I wanted to feed them plenty.

Ah okay, in my case I noticed with the clawing and lime green outlines on my plant as soon as I lowered the part A of the two nute blooms it mostly recovered in a day or two learning from the Auto Flower

Yeah like Bill said - you don’t need much nitrogen once they are in flower. Too much will inhibit bud growth.

How you reduce the nitrogen really depends on what's in your products. Whatever you cut back on might have other elements in it the plant absolutely needs.
Yeah that was my thought process as well your lowering the nitrogen but your possibly losing the other goodies in the formula so it either has already reduced nitrogen (the logical way of thinking in my opinion) or it’s the same levels and your now sacrificing other elements to keep it in bay

Thanks Bill!

Next week I’ll stop adding open sesame and start adding beastie bloomz, per FF feeding schedule.

i think they might be there now. maybe introduce the booster a bit slower and reduce the base nutes in balance.
it's a nice grow. hope it all comes in without issue. outdoor growing is a ride.

Leaf clawing aside, your plants are looking pretty good to me. :thumb:

I’m learning too, have been reading lots, retaining less and ask questions when the topics come up, to hopefully help more than just myself

over time everyone always forgets more than they learn. it's ok though, you'll always remember in the clutch, or someone here will catch you. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks bluter!

Outdoor growing - especially in this heat - is a challenge for sure.

They do look fabulous. I’ve been following.

Hopefully my interjection wasn’t taken as offside or poking fun. It wasn’t.

No worries at all my friend. All good here. I welcome any and all input.
I’ve learned there is no set “right” way to grow this stuff. Each plant is different, and each environment is different.

And when things go sideways there are lots of smart people here to help. I love it!
