Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Thats why i asked.. i had tried to say something before but it was missed i think. You DO NOT want to grow a plant by itself in kind soil. Please. Do the same with both the auto and photo. You can use less kind soil with the auto and more with the photo. But both NEED to have coco loco on top of the kind soil. It is VERY important. If you are using a 3 gal pot for the photo 3 lbs of kind soil will be perfect then coco loco on top. That is about 1/3 of your container with kind soil at the bottom and 2/3 with coco loco on top. DO NOT mix them together either. The same thing will happen again as your last grows if you try mixing them or using the kind soil by itself. I really dont want that to happen again... ...

I must have missed it last time. I don't remember seeing anything about that. But... You're the expert. So, fill the pot with the CL on top of 3 lb of the Kind. I will use the other two pounds underneath the CL for the auto. It will be in a 3 gallon pot as well. Thank you for that huge correction! I don't want the same thing to happen again, either.

I mentioned it a few times.. sorry it was missed. Easy to have happen with so much info flying around. Not saying im an expert and i dont wanna come off rude just dont want your grow messed up cause of communication issues lol. That would suck!! Sorry if i offended you at all.

Really though gramps i used that ratio in the plants i started flowering out now and they are the happiest biggest healthiest gals yet. 3 pounds of kind soil at the bottom will allow you to veg her for 2 months and completely flower her out without having to add anything but water. Better then that synthetic crap.....

I think you read what I said wrong. That is easy to do as well, as we cannot really give the emotions behind what we are saying by typing it. It's all good, bro! I took no offense, and everything that I said was sincere. I'm glad you got that out there for the reasons you put into your last post. I would have gone and done something stupid again. I'll hold you to that kind of growth. No pun intended... 😁 :young-plant:

My screen reader tells me when it is an emoji. It says... imogee number 6 or whatever number has been designated to that one. The emoticon faces come through just like the coating for them. It does not stay the word colon Etc. Some Punctuation is not stated and is assumed, like a period a comma or any other basic punctuation. Things like an asterisk or a brace are spoken. That's how I can still do some DB and HTML coding.

Frankly, I really don't know how people got along without these phones and tablets that works so well for the blind. I have a number of apps on my phone that are specifically designed to help me. As far as the screen reader is concerned, it is excellent to have. One issue is that if you have to read a list or a long article, and you accidentally touch the screen, it stops The Narrative. Then, you have to start all over again from the top. Sometimes, it gets tiring to listen to the same thing over and over. I'm not complaining, though. It is a wonderful piece of technology that helps immensely. Without it, I never would have made it here, and I will be stuck with something like an old flip phone. Ugghhhh!

I love that technology can assist you in such a way . One day they will have a planter where you add everything set it and forget it hahaha. Come back in 4 to 5 months for your harvested plant. I can dream can't I.

There's a device called Seedo just about to be launched. Fully automated grow, feeding and monitoring through your smart phone app. It's the size of a single fridge unit.

Definitely worth checking out Grandpa

I'll tell you what... That does sound very interesting, I will check it out for sure. I have a sneaky suspicion that it will be well beyond the affordability for us for quite a while, but I will definitely check it out and see. Thanks for the heads up, GN. :thumb:

Good morning Grandpa, all is well, what is on the agenda for this week? :hugs:
Funny you should ask. We got the tent mostly set up Karma we still have to do the details there. We have the auto and the photo spots all set up in the tent, and ready to go. Just waiting for the hempy bucket. These storms have evidently delayed its delivery. I am thinking about going ahead and choosing the streams we are going to plant, and then getting them into the rockwool in the meantime. Good idea? I figure at least a week before they're ready to go into the pots anyway. All is good here.
