Thanks a bunch, Toasty. I agree, it is an honor. In fact, I am quite humbled to be up there with you. In my opinion, I haven't done much in comparison to all of you. I would say keep them green... But I know you will. God bless.

You have done a lot just werent successful. I cant believe the perseverance you have to keep going. After two grows that failed idk if id keep going.. no offense. Ive learned a lot from you to not give up when it goes bad. While keeping a positive outlook the whole time as well. Kudos to ya gramps!! Your garden will be nice and green soon enough dont you worry!

Just wanted to drop in and say congrats on the nomination gramps! Your optimism and perseverance inspire me everyday. Thanks for all you do .

Thanks so much, all of you. As Popeye used to say... I am what I am. And that's me. I'm just me. If God has blessed me with the ability to inspire then I am honored for His gift. And that ability is truly my reward and award. So, I've already won. No matter what the vote comes out to be. I am strengthened by all of you, and motivated by all of you. In my humble opinion, yes I spelled it out, that is the best situation you could be involved in. So it's the glory of God, and all of you that keeps me moving forward. Baby steps, to be sure, but forward. I love you all, and consider it an honor to know you. May God bless! :namaste:

Progress report...

The hempy set up will be here by tomorrow. When we set it up, we will Mount the light and organize the tent also. After that, we will choose the strains and drop them in the water.
I would like to be certain I know how to use the rockwool. If I understand correctly, after I remove the seeds from the water, I place it in the hole in the center of the rockwool, I am assuming pointed side down, and then pinch the opening and keep it moist and in a warm place. Would it be a good idea to keep the rockwool in a little bowl with a little water at the bottom so it can stay damp? Maybe even put some kind of a dome over it? Should they be in a dark place, or should I set a light cycle for them?
I will know when it's time to place them in their pots when I see roots coming out of the rock wool. I hope I'm right there. I need a little guidance on about how deep to bury them in the Kind soil, the Coco Loco and the perlite.
We're getting closer and closer... Stay tuned!

So rock wool holds a significant amount of moisture gramps, you actually do not want to leave them in water. You DO want to soak them in water ph'd to 5.5 overnight, prior to planting the seed.

Go ahead and start them under a 18 - 6 light cycle, and mist the cube only when it begins to dry
