Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Jeffie? Your nicknames need work. If Trump has taught us anything its federal taxes suck, dont use twitter, the media is extremely biased, and everyone needs a good nickname. How about Jackass Jeff or Jughead Jeff?
I think I'll stick with Jeffie... LOL! 😉 it's easier for my old, evil brain to remember. I like your suggestions, though. :thumb:

Why you say that you don't know about the deserving part? The harder it is to grow for you the more stuff gets sent to you. You're family Grandpa...:)
Actually, with all the help and things that have been sent, I still haven't been able to give you guys even a small Harvest. In my book, that's less than deserving of more. It's my old owner manager's attitude. But this family... Wow! Regardless of results, all of you just keep on coming. Kelley and I love you all very much!

Just want to see you guys harvest, once you do I think it will get much easier for you.
A decent Harvest out of this run is definitely the goal. Once that is done, we can start comparing the different mediums. That's the long-term goal. Thanks, PW! You're 100% correct. Again. :namaste:

I think you'll get started right this time, you know the perlite is inert and the Osmacote only becomes active when wet so little chance of burning plants. Just ph the water and you're golden.

Yeah thanks to all of you! :thanks:

No pressure...lol .

Just follow the recipe and you will be golden. By recipe I mean feed schedule and by golden I mean stoned, sometimes I feel like I have my own language.

You can have your own language... Just as long as you keep translating for us. . :thumb:

no pressure

Grandpa, sometimes you might feel the pressure on stage when all eyes are on you but you were born to SHINE, success is DEVINE. Rock on!

BTW, you have enough soil/less to grow an elephant now, so you still have options...lol.

Much luv
I must admit... I've never been bashful. Now that we have the plan set, all I can do is my best. I know my best will be much better than it ever has been because of all that you guys have done for us! Huge hug, and much love back at you. God bless. :circle-of-love:

Just a few things left to do before we drop any seeds in water. We have to hang the Growant light, reorganize the tent for three pots instead of one, load the pots with their different mediums and wait for the hempy bucket that T has sent.
As a review... We will be growing a total of 3 plants, 1 in the hempy and 1 in the Kind soil. I'm considering putting a thin top-dressing of Coco Loco so the young Roots will have something initially not so hot to be developing in. We will also be doing an auto and Coco Loco, with a layer of kind soil at the bottom of the pot. These other two pots, will be fabric.

PW was kind enough to place quite a bit of rock wool in with his package. I have never worked with the stuff, and I need guidance as to how to actually use it. Please, I would appreciate as detailed and explanation as is possible. We are getting closer and closer, everyone! This old man is heading to bed. Good night and God bless! See you all in the morning.

There is a hole in the top of each rockwool cube. Germinate the seeds then drop one in the hole and pinch the top so the hole is shut loosely then place it someplace warm. Once the seedling pops up you can transfer it to the hempy bucket like normal.

Uh gramps... are you planning on growing a plant in only kind soil with a thin layer of coco loco on top? You might wanna switch the two around or youll have a dead plant lol. Bottom of the pot should be kind soil the rest coco loco. Depending on how big the pot is, if its 3 gal use a little more then half that bag of kind soil at the bottom of her pot. You want a pound of kind soil per gallon of your container. Always at the bottom of the pot! Thats how they feed.. you water they feed off the kind soil.

I think I'm missing something here. Do I transfer the seedling in the rock wool, or do I somehow remove it from The Rock wool? It does seem to need that you wouldn't risk tearing up the little Roots by removing it from the wool.
I'm also assuming that you mean that I should germinate the seeds using the wet paper towel method. If there is a an easier way to do it, I'd love to know. Not been very successful using the paper towels. That's why I have been planting them directly into the soil. I know I cannot do that withh hempys, but I had planned on doing that with the other photo and the auto.
