Here's the four GDP S1s I transplanted and put into flower:

As soon as I chop these Chem D plants, I'll transplant the other GDP S1s and put them in this tent, then I'll have the room to start my next GDP seeds:

Man this next round I'm doing is gonna be something to watch. One GDP father, but between 6-8 GDP mothers.

It's probably going to be a while. Pre '98 don't yield worth a rat's a$$, so I'm gonna grow the plant as big as I can to make up for it.

Is that the nature of the strain or just the genetics you are running?

It's one of the two most famous things about this strain of weed.
The other is people say it's the best smelling or tasting pot there is; I've read a lot of reviews that say it.

It seems that the higher quality the weed is the lower the yield will be. It is hard to find amazing weed that yields really well. Nature of the beast I guess.

Looking good despite the temp issues. I know of a couple strains that I've grown that fit that description. Barney's farm Red Diesel was a huge yielder for me using soil and getting over 6 ounces of potent frosty buds in a 5 gal pot with a 8 week veg. HSO Chemdawg yielded about the same with even less veg time. I know with more veg time most strains can yield alot with good lights and proper training. But veg time does cost money!

I have found good strains that yield really well but they arent the best things I have grown. My best strain yields about 3-4 oz a plant which is respectable to me. The highest numbers I usually get come off of my ok plants. My Shackzilla yielded 5 oz a plant and while ok it is not great. My bubblegum was the same way. Really my better strains yield ok but my mid grade strains typically out yield them is all.

I went back and read through a good portion of your journal. Lots of commitment! I personally love GDP but have not smoked any since 2007-2008

I currently have GDP x GDP and while ours have similar features mine seems to grow quite different. I want to share my phenotype with you, hope it's okay

No I don't mind at all. That plant structure looks different than the ones I've grown. It seems like it's always that way though. The second order of Tangerine Dream seeds I picked up didn't look or smoke like the first seeds I grew.

Wow plant growth has all but stopped around these parts because of the cold. I'm getting colors from plants I didn't even know had it in 'em though
They look pretty, but all in all so does cotton candy. You can eat that $hit all day and it don't make a turd.....
