Hello growers.

Here's an evening update on the Freebie + 1 Grow on Flip 45.

No tent pic to begin the new year, but a little PG-rated bud porn!

Alien Rock Candy
Some of her buds are really stacking tall and hers are the hardest of any in the tent.

Original Glue
Her buds look okay but I know they could have been so much okayer. She's #1 on my do-over list.

runt Fast Banana
She's stacking pretty well too, but being a runt she doesn't have a whole lot to stack.

THC Bomb
She's grown nicely and her buds are doing the same!

Chiquita Banana Clone
Her buds are the most colorful (and she's nearly done).

[Weed Seeds Express]

Hello growers.

Despite my best efforts, I'm starting to get antsy. This is the worst part of the grow for me. When buds are present in abundance but nothing is ready. I get nervous about critters because I believe buds attract them. I get nervous about plants falling over. I get nervous about dropping one while moving it in/out of the tent. I get nervous about losing my balance trying the lift a plant and falling on the whole bunch.

In summary, I work myself into tizzy over what "could" happen.

And then I medicate and all is good (for a bit)!

So here's the source of my twitching, the Freebie + 1 grow on Flip 43.

The Auto Show Day 46.

I really hope these are some short-running autos. Done in 65-70 days would be ideal! It looks like that could be a possibility for all but the weird Purple (back left) who looks like she could be one of those 100-day autos. One long-runner out of the 5. That would be so "normal."

I'm trying to settle on my next few grows. (That's another thing that happens at this stage in a grow. I just can't help myself!)

I figure if I put something in writing on this forum it will help me focus. And there's always a chance that I could actually stick to what I'm about to write!

So for the 4x4 tent it will be 3 @Weed Seeds Express plants, cleverly named the Express Grow.

NYC Diesel
Trainwreck

And in the 5x5 I'll run the Bubblegum Machine which will be 4 plants.
One Bubblegum each from:
Kera Seeds
Royal Queen Seeds, and
@Weed Seeds Express

I'm also going to toss in a Cosmic Lights, which is absolutely my fav jarred weed at the moment (with Bubblegum running a close second). I've been reluctant to grow another fearing that I'll get a different pheno from the first run I did and then have a pouting fit. But I've got to give it a go!

Of course my Arc clone on Flip + 11 knows nothing about outdoor weather and she's beginning to do her thing!

Now to see how long I can keep her in this short, 2x2 tent!

Yeah, here on the Eastern Shore we already have a couple inches. The one thing that sucks about telework is that even though OPM shut down the offices, you still gotta telework. No more snow days

That weird Purple plant has some long leaves. Is it a Purple Kush pheno or a Purple Haze pheno? The Purple I grew was a Kush pheno and so far, I haven't enjoyed a great high from it.

Hello growers.

Things are getting more "normal" in the Freebie + 1 Tent on Flip 50. Some of my plants are starting to look sort of scraggly, with discolored and drying leaves. Others are starting to flop like LeBron James wannabes.

This is always the roughest part of my grows. The finish.

I'm never sure why this happens, whether due to a lock-out, deficiency or just because I'm lazy. Usually by now, I have sprayed several different bug treatments on these plants weekly. Sometimes I go back and spray them with water a few hours after treating them but often times I don't. And even when I do spray them off with water it's usually a half-hearted effort that probably doesn't get to all the leaves that need to be rinsed. Anyway, I usually attribute my ugly leaves at the end to leaving salt deposits on my leaves from fighting the bugs. And I've conveniently reasoned that its better to kill the bugs than to worry about pretty leaves at the end.

This time I'm not so sure that's the case.

The @Prescription Blend nutrients had been doing a stellar job keeping the plants nearly pristine. And now, with the THC Bomb (front left) beginning to get discolored leaves, the Alien Rock Candy (rear left) remains nearly perfect, with no discoloration. Soooo, there may be something amiss with the ARC that is unrelated (or only partially related) to her bug treatments.

I noticed that @Buds Buddy is having this same issue with one of his PB girls. He thinks it may be related to the Big Data component of the nutrients. I'm monitoring the results he achieves by lowering the amount of that component.

I won't even speculate on the Original Glue's issues (right rear). She's been through the ringer and I'll be happy just to get her to the finish line intact. She's a do-over.

The CB clone and runt Fast Banana (front right) are falling all over themselves, unable to support their fruit.

In the 2x2, the ARC clone on Flip + 15 is pushing out budlets! She'll get her first top-feed of Geoflora Bloom tomorrow.

I'll try to get back later with an update on the Auto Show. I had planned to do it now, but my mom just called and needs me to come and take her to the grocer.

What I wouldn't give for a sibling to share the load!

All I can say is once I flushed & lowered the Big Data to 4 ml. nothing has gotten worse & she put out a bunch more white pistils. Seems like a good sign to me.

Lebron... lol. Sure wish he would have been around to play against Jordan, Malone or Alan Iverson. All 3 would school him. He's good yes.... but not that good. I hate players who are full of themselves like Lebron & Tom Brady. The truly great players don't have to say it. You just know.
