I took some bud shots but not real good. Anyway the beast is still going strong n Day 73

Looks good @Ice cream . Now you'll wait for all those white hairs/pistils (really stigmas) to turn brown and crinkle inward and then you can start checking the trichomes with a loop for color to determine when to harvest.

Hey @bluter can the buds be ready if there's still a few white pistols? I'm still lacking confidence when it comes to looking at the trichomes.

I would go ahead and say yes.... The plant continues to mature after the plant is chopped pistils redden, trichomes cloud and amber, etc ... That's why I don't mind chopping a little early as by the time it continues ripping after chop it is at a perfect blend for the high...without to much degrading of the thc waiting for the prime moment to chop.

Its always the hardest part of growing for me on when to harvest. A good indicator for me is when the buds are getting hard

Never had an auto with so many cola’s it’s insane! Im thinking 2 more weeks

Brown hairs are starting to recede

Question for the pros. As i am at Day 75 from sprout and giving her 5.5 grams of MegaCrop daily should i begin to cut back on nutrients and let hervest her leaves.

They will eat what they want regardless.
But as flowering winds down I do reduce the strength of my feed water.
Most nutrient companies recommend that in the final week or so.

Today G14auto is on Day 77 from sprout. Website says 8-10 weeks but not this lady.

Hopefully she’ll be done by next weekend

Is she still throwing white pistils up?
Either foxtails or you have an extra couple weeks.
Looks good though.

foxtail usually throws long eyelashy pistils and will make a weird curvy cola on the mains.
