Yesterday evening, while I was spraying the plants with the 0.3% canola oil spray, I thought I saw a problem on Survivor.
The light was bad, and the plants were wet, so I decided to check again this morning.

Looks like phytoplasma strikes again.
I also had to close my window last night due to the strong weed scent coming from the backyard :D

Ooh noo, the plants look fanastic! but rot so early is a buzzkill. I'd keep a close eye around the leaves that are going yellow.
Yeah, it's not a good feeling seeing a bud where it's taken hold.
Luckily the yellowing leaves are all big fans, and still aren't leaves supporting budsites.
the GG#4 is a beast, when she plays the recorder turn up your stereo
Thanks con!
Maybe I should take an iPod dock out there and blast some Belphegor when she starts playing!
I'd love to hear her say "Mommy, what's a Bondage Goat Zombie?"
Beautiful garden Mel. Hope the weather holds for you and that recorder disappears for your sanity. Ever see the episode of the Flintstones when Fred goes to the jamboree and the kid blows the bugle in Fred's ear? I'm picturing that now.

I hope they all finish in good shape Mel. You've certainly got them in shape to do so if the stars align for you.

One note for 4 hours! Call the police! 😁

Winds are from the East for the most part today.
I'm going to have to go out there and adjust the supports again.
Sorry about the terrible image quality.

She’s a monster!

Sorry about the disease. Takes such work and sacrifice to get bud in that jar.
It really does.

Sorry to see the bud rot it sucks. I hope it's not too bad. :lot-o-toke: 🍋
Thanks Keith!

Have you tried the "rain rain go away" song? LoL

Plants look strong & healthy Mel! :high-five: Hope you get a break from the weather soon.

I got some more bamboo in there supporting the metal stakes. With the stakes they're making some tripods in three spots.
I'll be putting more in there after the rain let's up a bit, but the branches that had been knocked sideways are mostly back up.
Going for a vape, get ahold of my temper.

Thanks Preston, so do I.

Here's the damage so far.

These are branches that snapped right off.
There's a small branch on Kong that's pointing at the ground, but it hasn't broken off yet.
I'm undecided as to whether or not to cut it off.
That's a decision that's best left to tomorrow.

I've got major issues with my Purple Kush but haven't lost any branches.
So sorry my friend. :Namaste:

So, I lost one more branch from Godzilla in the rain last night, and more is on the way today.

Otherwise, things are pretty much at a standstill until the sun comes out again.

Gorilla Glue #4
When I'm able to spray it the canola oil kills the powdery mildew, but the rain had been washing it off faster than I can apply it, and I'm not crazy enough (yet) to sray it while it's raining, so it's getting worse.

ANd I still have to make a decision about this.

Godzilla Glue #4

At least half the stigmas have changed colour. If she an make it another two weeks, she'll probably be ready.

Survivor
Completely unphased by any of this. Just has a bit of powdery mildew and some black budlets.

I wish I could put up a greenhouse like yours!

plants look great nice & thick hope you can get rid of the PM & get some sun on them

Mel, I'm hoping for a great ending!

This grow has evolved into a edge-of-your-seat drama for me. I'm so into what you're dealing with and how you go about it.

It's high stakes. You -- not against nature -- but at her mercy.

It's a page turner scroller!

I'm learning a ton from you and other outdoor growers this season. :thanks:

I just vaped the tester from Godzilla. It could've used another day or two drying as it was a bit steamy, but there's definitely something there.
I also caught the taste of lemons without the sour, and a little background of pine and diesel.
If I have to harvest early it won't be a waste at all, and those branches in the basement are definitely worth saving.

I hope mother nature goes along with that plan!

So am I!
I'm glad you're interested, and if anything that's happening helps you with your outdoor grows I'll be happy!

Brave words.

Lol
I'm just baffled at my plants honestly they amaze me everyday... if I could send you a clip I got some gnarly footage of high speed winds hitting my plants and they just took it.

I've now removed 3 spots of budrot from Kong. They're small ones, and weren't hidden deep.
I'm going to give her a week, and if she gets more rot in that time I'll chop. If not, I'll assess how much she's ripened, and make a decision.
:green_heart: Wunerful!!!
:)
Monsters are no match for Mother Nature when she’s pissed off lol.
Very true!
Id like to see mother nature try and take my plants on 😎
You really don't!
Just look at the trees that get knocked over in storms.

They take it...until they suddenly can't.
Your plants aren't topped though, so they don't have the weak point to fail.

I got more rain last night and it's overcast with a bit of drizzle now. It's been about 2 weeks of constant rain now. I've removed a little rot too, just cut the offending bud off and hope for the best.🤔🙄 I think two weeks is my magic number too.:hmmmm: Found another caterpillar too.🙄:bong:
