GG7's Indoor/Outdoor Grows!

Goose they all look wonderful. That is quite the set of strains you got from them, WOW :thumb:
Those clones look to be super healthy, so are there any front runners for you?
That is sure quite the assortment you now have going on, I bet you didn't think this season you would this many. :high-five:

Way to go

:peace:

Easy goldengoose man,
Your garden looks amazing in the summer sun. Wish I could put some in my garden without pigs sniffing. Looking great man, cant wait to see the buds!! +reps GG

Thanks MS!

So much for my "Two Strains and 12 Plants Only This Summer" idea! LOL! :laughtwo:

Do you have any experience with any of those strains that are involved in those MO clones? I've heard of Purple Diesel and Grand Daddy Blueberry, but no knowledge of any of the OG based strains they used as females in many of these crosses. Should prove to be an interesting harvest this October when everything is budding and ready for harvest! ;)

Of course, my focus remains on the Harlequin since that is the only one with a certifiable high CBD ratio of all the new strains going this season. The Purple Rhino will also be an interesting grow to watch unfold. So far, those plants look very similar to the Harlequin, which no doubt comes from their Sativa influences.

Time will tell! Meanwhile, I'm just going to keep them all watered and in good sun exposed locations. For right now all the MO clones are in a partially shaded area of the back hill since until now, they have never been exposed to the actual SUN before. Takes most virgin plants a week or two to adjust to the UV radiation, and we get a heck of a lot of that up here at 4000 feet!

Thanks for checking in and stay tuned! :)

Thanks JBC!

Pigs! ??? Seriously? LOL! :whoa:

Thanks for the reps! Much appreciated! :thumb:

I too am very much looking forward to the fall when we start to see what all these new strains start turning out to be in the budding department. Hopefully the tall strains don't get too tall! That White Rhino male from last year was almost 10 feet tall from the base of the stalk to the growing tip! Its no wonder it managed to pollenate every single Purple Urkle that was sitting on the hill behind it! LOL!

Hoping it passes along that beautiful purple flower phenom that the female had and not so much of the Bamboo like height!

:wood:

Again...If anyone reading this has had any experience with any of the strains involved in the MO crosses, I would love to get some feedback from you on what to expect in all aspects of the grow.

:thanks:

Police, feds whatever you call them bacon smelling slaves

Ahhh!

I hadn't heard that term applied to them in decades, so I was thinking of the actual animal! LOL! Some folks up around here do raise livestock, and pigs in particular are well known for their tendency to chew up just about anything in a garden if they can get to it! ;)

I'm not too worried about that problem here, with the badged type since we are all legal here and far enough off the grid as to not raise any red flags with them. Still... I have always tried to keep the garden as low profile as possible.

Only a handful of very well trusted friends and relatives even know about it's location, and on top of that, we have a pretty over the top security system in place for the property in general that will alert us day or night to any trespassing activity and will get it all on video both in regular light as well as night vision.

If all of that fails to fend off would be theives, then they can deal with my 12 gauge and/or my 9mm. ;)

as i take a few steps back off gg7 property, i just spotted snipers in the trees, heat activated motion sensors, dont think ill be getting any free weed from here, ill go try next door,

Those new strains sound great! Sounds like the breeder is trying to develop a potent purple strain.

What, no guard dogs?

i didnt see guard dogs, just snipers and sensors everywhere, i bet the postman shits himself when he gets to your house, do you get much post, or does the post man refuse to deliver on grounds it may cause himself harm or injury.

if i had cameras out side my apartment/flat id be more likely to be broke into, it dont stop them here it tells them that their is something worth having protection for, and as firearms and even air pistols are banned here i dont have much protection once they get through the door, apart from my pitbull that is, which is all good unless they bring a cat with them then he shits himself and goes n hides, he dont like them cats, wont go near em,

LOL! Yep... Always best to call first! ;)

Hey Gitter! Long time no see! :)

His crew is definitely into doing what they do! Main focus is on Nor Cal strains since those are the easiest to come by out here on the west coast. I do hope that he contacts the 420 Mag folks about becoming a sponsor. I think they could bring a great deal of useful info on breeding to the discussions around here. I'm not sure if they are selling across state lines yet. Seems they have their hands full already just keeping up with the demand from the California based dispensaries and collectives. Their "Rep" out here is very high and are known for quality stuff!

:thumb:

I also think that they deserve some wider recognition and exposure for their efforts to date! Their Blue Cheese strain alone is worthy of an award or three! :)

The beauty of our system is that it is pretty much invisible to anyone coming in from outside our property line. By the time you spot a camera, its too late! I've got ya on video from multiple angles!

007 would be proud! ;)

As far as the weapons go... Up here in the mountains, a locked and loaded 12 gauge is standard equipment. Everyone has at least one if not several rifles and handguns. This is more for protection against bears and cougars than people, but they work for any type of predator that can't be warned off with a shout and/or a warning shot. ;)

The local sheriff is 20 minutes away on a good day and we all know it. Not surprisingly... We have a VERY low crime rate around here.

What, no guard dogs?

Hee hee.... :)

Nope. Just cats, a ton of technology and some hardware. ;)

Seriously...

After we lost Kimba last September to something out there in the forest, I dumped a butt load of $$$ into beefing up our surveillance system. We never knew what happened to him/what got him and not knowing made it that much harder to deal with.

Had this new system been active back then, we might have been alerted to whatever large predator was lurking around our property, long before we ended up losing a cherished pet to it! :( We still have four other cats, so they need to be protected at all costs! Don't ever want to go through that again!

The extra protection for the crop is just gravy.

sooo... I take it not guard cats...

I had a guard cat. A Burmese. He could stand on his hind legs on the ground and touch my shoulders with me standing up. People used to laugh at my "Beware of Cat" sign, until he came sauntering around the corner looking at them wondering what food they had. No kidding I could barely touch both his ears with one hand. There were dogs that went the other way when they saw him, and there really wasn't a mean bone in his body, unless you took his bagel and schemer (also spelled schmear, shmear or shmîr depending on who you know).

damn, thats some cat, who needs dogs when you got a cat like that, not many dogs can chase a man up a tree, but im sure he would come unstuck when he watches a huge cat running round the corner and then possibly he might think the tree was not the safest place to hide, pmsl,

gg7, you got any advice on harvest, like when is it best to do, before the lights come on, when they go off, or dont it really matter, my nl x bb is ready i think i just got to check the trichs, all the white hairs are now an orange colour some trichs where cloudy yesterday but not 50%, i want a daytime smoke with the nl x bb and a night time smoke from the kush so ill let the kush go longer but thats not ready yet,

I generally harvest my crops in the early evening after the sun has gone down and temps start to drop. Remember though that I harvest in October, so temp changes are pretty dramatic from mid-day to early evening up here. Some folks say to harvest in the morning, but we get too much dew at that time, so it is always under early evening twilight for me. ;)

If you don't already have one, get yourself a good Jeweler's Loupe so you can get a real good read on the trichomes. I like a good couch-lock with as much CBD effect as I can get, so I let mine go nearly all amber before the chop. If you haven't reviewed my posts from last year, be sure to check out all the microscope images I posted showing some pretty cool photos of GDP trichomes at harvest time at 30x and 100x magnification, as well as high power scope closeup shots of other strains as well.

A good scope with a video cam attachment is a nice tool to have, since it really gives you some detail that is hard to achieve with a loupe or most of those cheap all in one scope cam things. One thing I like about my setup is that I can save the images for comparison with future pre-harvest scope samples. :)

Hope that helps!

P.S. I will be posting another photo update in a few days. Just waiting for the seedlings to get a bit bigger than they were at the last update.

Stay tuned! :)
