I will be sticking to the schedule quite tightly. I am going to shoot for two feedings a week, along with one watering if possible.

The other plants I have to round out the Oasis are one other Auto PK I have under my fish tank

and a C.R.E.A.M from my last grow. This is my first and only plant I have ever topped, but its more of a FIM.
IMG_9598.JPG

I will doing some LST on all these plants to maximize space and produce maximum amount of buds.

A Christmas tree will be planted sometime next month, in honour of the challenge.

Everyone is up and doing great. The NL x BB is 1 cm tall just like the Auto PK.

Dropped another NL x BB in water last night, and it cracked this morning. It is now nestled between some moist paper towels on a pie plate, with a cereal bowl over top to keep humidity in. That is all placed on top of a small piece of foam, and then on top of my seedling heat mat. Should be ready for dirt by Friday before I leave.

No need for a picture of what looks just like yesterdays little sprouts, so I will talk about and add some pictures of what else took place today.

Still need to make some more edibles of my favorite choice, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Perfect for breakfast. I may save that for tomorrow, and have a fresh batch for the game.

Today for the first time I made some Sweet and Sour mix for my drinks. Figured I might as well while I had the lemon juice out. Lemon juice was for what I just finished up doing for the first time ever, but a new step I will always add when harvesting. Both indoor and outdoor.

Some bud washing!

C.R.E.A.M Auto in the center and big nugs on far left, Acapulco Gold X Freedom Dream on the right and little buds scattered about. The latter is a homemade seed, nothing special, just turned into a fruity CBD strain with little yield. Max yield is probably only 1/2 oz if taken care of, maybe more. I will test that out next year. Smell is phenomenal though, like bag of fresh mixed berry candy.

Water is not as bad as the next runs will be, this was only two small plants. Still have plenty more to go this fall with the impromptu photoperiod's I was given from a friend.

Speaking of those photo's, here are the Purple Kush bag seeds we had, all germ'd at the same time. **(referring to the first picture)** Tall one on right was put outside several weeks ago, while the left one was only placed outside yesterday. Short one had been given some Dagda Lord of the Field slow release fertilizer, and has some noticeable burns on some leaf tips. New growth is coming in fine. Kept one PK inside to be my first indoor photo, so next batch of auto's will be under 12/12.

No idea what these guys are, as they were sad looking seedlings my friends neighbour had given him. He gave them to me as he didn't want to bother with trying to recover them. I literally payed no extra attention to them, just gave them a new home in separate buckets. Fed them some Dagda grow last month, and switched to the Dagda bloom for the flowering stage.
IMG_9696.JPG

This one was topped for me by an animal. It was left with a bunch of small leaves on the bottom, and stripped all the top growth. I left it for dead, but it decided it didn't want to die just yet. Looks like it might yield more than its counterpart that was left alone.

Will post new pictures of the Oasis tomorrow, time to relax with my mix on a vodka gimlet.

Spent more time in the provincial capital than had originally planned on, so it's a good thing I was prepared to have an extended stay, and gave everything a thorough soaking before I left.

Everyone is a little taller than before, and much wider. true leaves are stretching and making way for the next nodes, Should be the start of the vegi burst.

Still haven't given any nutrients yet, that is for tomorrow morning. Going to give everyone a full soak of the week 1 levels on the schedule.

Sure wish there was a way to fix my brain, everything would be so much easier then.

Have been taking care of everyone, just never took any pictures.

On the morning of September 3rd, I had given all three seedlings their first dose of nutrients.

For the tent.

I filled a 2 liter bottle with 1ml of Medi 1, then topped up with water. I then used that to fill up two 710ml bottles with straight nutrients, then distributed the rest into equal amounts in another two 710ml bottles, and topped up the rest of those with water. I first gave each plant the half water half nutrient bottle, then followed up with the second bottle. Only a little had drained out the bottom, but was soaked back up very shortly.

For the Fish Tank

I mixed 1ml of Medi 1 into 2 liter bottle, and fed it all to the NLxBB under the fish tank. No water leaked through, as its in a 3 gallon smart pot. I then poured some water in the catch basin to be absorbed from the bottom, did not last very long

And onto today's pictures and report

The PK is growing really quick, noticeably faster than both of the NLxBB seedlings. They are still coming along, just nowhere as vigorous.

Not a whole lot has changed, other than getting bigger. Nothing that isn't expected.

Gave everyone in the tent a bunch of water yesterday, but fed from the bottom. The plant under the fish tank is still moist, but just about dried out.

The NLxBB under the fish tank, by far the tallest of the bunch. Lower powered LED is clearly the cause, by nearly 150w.IMG_9976.JPGIMG_9983.JPGIMG_9984.JPG

And the readings

A new seed has been placed into paper towel after a 24 hr soak. New addition will be a Sweet Cheese Auto by Sweet Seeds. Should be ready for soil in the next day or so.

Lots of growth coming from both plants, but one is clearly more noticeable than the other.

IMG_0002.JPGIMG_0003.JPGIMG_0006.JPGIMG_0008.JPG

Decide to do some LST on the PK yesterday, seeing as it is already so large, and that was at 7:30 pm.
IMG_0012.JPG

By 9 pm it was already back upright.
IMG_0014.JPG

PK took the LST extremely well. With its growth rate, I think by Wednesday I will be needing to tie some more branches back.
IMG_0034.JPGIMG_0036.JPG
If the NLxBB decides to stay short, then I will not LST him at all, and just let him do what he wants.

New tent had arrived on Monday, and of course I set it up immediately. Moved both lights down there, along with all the plants. Minus the plant under the fish tank, that will remain there. Temperatures in the basement are much cooler than upstairs, so the purples will have a much better chance of emerging now. Out of excitement I decided to add a Bloody Skunk, an LSD-25, and another PK auto to try my first purple batch. First attempt at the Bloody Skunk and LSD-25 turned out some nice buds, just very green. The LSD did have some purple tinge all over, but nothing like my friends success in a cooler temperatured tent.

Sorry for the crappy pictures under the blurple, I was rushed and excited to have a phone again. Next update will be much cleaner, I promise.

Not sure which is which, I was smoking too much when I potted them up. Totally forgot what was what. 2 weeks of growth should tell me what they are.

Well they are certainly on the move. Going to administer the second round of LST on the PK Auto tomorrow morning, as I am too lazy to do it tonight. The NLxBB is starting to really bush out, I am interested to see how it finishes out.

Start off with the purps

And finish off with the night lights

Some more breeding stock, going to seed these high CBD autos with a PK photoperiod, grow the seeds out over winter and next summer.

Applied some LST to both plants, but PK has been bent twice, and NLxBB has only been bent the once so far. It is so short and bushy, I was weary about doing anything to him. As I am greedy and want most yield for my effort, I started his training. Took it well, bounced back faster than others had.

Now onto today's photos. Both have taken the LST really well, new shoots are starting to pop out real nice.

Two more days and I should be able to pin it back again. Maybe even tomorrow, it is really starting to take off now.

just a thot,, perhaps condense to one journal,, cheers

First up is the Northern Lights x Big Bud that was recently harvested. Small little plant yielded very high for its size, 27g dried. Very pleased.

Then we have the not so Automatic Purple Kush still out on the pool room. I'm sure I will just toss it out in the snow very soon, not interested in watching it finish.

And lastly, the one Auto PK I have high interest in. Buds are filling out extremely well, very dense. Another week or two and it will be ready.
