GDB's Thanksgiving Harvest

Big tent plants look terrific, small tent plant looks terrific, and I bet the FPa will look terrific drying out on the WaPo.
:nomo:

If you can only run the 4x4, pack it like a 5x5!
Thanks so much Shed.

I think the FPa will only require an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, folded in half.

Good afternoon my friend. :ciao:
Garden is absolutely wonderful today. :welldone:
Hope you have a terrific weekend GDB.
Take care.

Thanks so much "Construction Skill Bill." :)

Your tent is absolutely exploding with good health. And bruv those clean floors make my heart sing!
Thanks so much Ms. T! :)

I'm digging watching you perfect the lazy man's approach! And having a 5-in-1 tupperware bowl fits that description just fine.
I'm digging that you're digging it Shed! Thanks so much. :Rasta:

Well, you  are getting pretty good at this "growing" thing ..👍😀
All of them are looking great, but the front row GDB's are exceptional!

* Mrs.C. has one of those bowls- I had no idea they were so versatile!
Thanks Carcass. I'm surrounded by top-notch role models! :)

I have that bowl too, but I don't recall ever puking in it. :laughtwo:

Hello all.

I've just been relaxing and not paying much attention to the plants. I figure at this stage they're gonna' do what they do without my eyes constantly on them. It's a place I like to be, not being so obsessive about the day-to-day developments but more trusting that I've got them set up to succeed. I've been able to do this since I've found ways to keep the bugs away! :)

In the 4x4 the Grandaddy Blacks continue to stretch on their day Flip + 7. The larger one (front left) has reached the height of the Purple Tahoe (back left). Good sign!

The Purple Dream (back right) got another bi-weekly dose of Uprising Bloom last night. But other than that all of these plants are getting mostly aged tap water only. They all get a weekly dose of silica and Recharge but Grow Dots are doing the rest. It's a lazy man's dream come true!
----------
In the 2x2, the Pineapple Express (Day 54) started getting some yellowing leaves a few days ago. So I postponed flipping her for a day, opting instead to give her a dose of Calmag Pro (8-0-0) instead. She's in a mix of Lush soil and concentrated super soil. I've had the super soil for about 3 years and it might not be what it used to be. So I've now put her on Root's Organics dry organic nutrients. Her first dose was last night and she will be flipped this evening.

And here is the Obit pic of the little Fruit Punch auto. Her buds are hard and her time is up. I was trying to get at least an ounce off her but I doubt that's going to happen. Still, I may enter her in the Plant of the Month contest as a
bonsai. :laughtwo: I'll be taking her down tomorrow or the day after, after a bit of darkness. (That's a grinder in the pic for scale.)

For a guy who initially started growing in DWC, this grow has been a piece of cake! Barely a chirp from my Lazy-Meter or my Mrs., who often expresses her feelings that I spend too much time fussing over my plants! I'm slowly finding my way!

As always, thanks for looking in.

Peace.
Hey GDB looking great in grow room . I got one for each foot, my mom use to sell these in the day .

Thanks Hippie. Good to know you have 2 feet! :laughtwo:

Hello growers.

All is going well in the 4x4. The 2 Grandaddy Blacks (right) continue to rise. They've nearly reached the height of the Purple Dream (back left). I was thinking as I looked at them this morning that my best case scenario would be if the GDBs reached the same height of the Dream and then stopped. Man, that would be ideal!

The Purple girls are on Flip + 24, and the GDBs are on Flip + 9. They're all sagging a bit in this pic because the lights are going out in about 5 minutes and they know it.

In the 2x2 the Pineapple Express is on Flip + 3. The one-time dose of Calmag Pro (8-0-0) seems to have worked for the yellowing leaves. (I gave them a very small dose, mixed at .5g per gallon.)

And last, the Fruit Punch auto has been taken down and now hangs from a bamboo stick. I had been hoping for at least an ounce off of her but now I'm really rooting for at least 6 grams! :laughtwo:

Finally, my wayward son came by for a visit yesterday and I gave him some Black Domina to puff on. I was really surprised by how smelly that weed is! I seldom smoke anymore and when I do it's in very small quantities. But he smokes like a, well, a 30-year old. At one point I went down to the basement to ask him if he had brought some weed with him because he was stinking up the house. He said that was the weed I gave him. I had no idea it was that stinky. BTW, he loved it!

As always, thanks for the attention.

Peace.

Of course he loved it.
We all would. :passitleft:

Your garden looks great as always. It looks like you could spread that pineapple express out and fill that tent. She is beautiful :green_heart:

That is my plan Budman!
4x4 is looking spot on and I'm with LKA on spreading out the Pineapple Express. It will give the middle more of chance to produce for you!
That is my plan Shed!
Congrats on the FPa harvest (regardless of weight)! I hope it's a great smoke for as long as it lasts. :)
Puff, puff gone! :laughtwo:
And I'm glad to hear you had a nice visit with your wayward son.
I am too Shed. Too often things between us are strained. I love him but often he doesn't seem to realize it.

And here is the "plan" I mentioned at the beginning.

I intended to spread the Pineapple Express to fill the 2x2. However, she's in a small 2 gallon pot so tie-downs taming those long branches was beyond the reach of the pot's diameter. I had to make a new batch of GDBWeights® for the mission.

GDBWeight.jpg

I make these using plant anchors and find that when used in combinations of singles and doubled-up ones (like above) they make for a nice way to hold branches down without breaking them. I just tie them to the inner and outer sections of branches at the appropriate spots to hold the branches down and out.

So this is what the PE looks like now that I'm done:

Stoned (not you Shed) minds think alike! :Rasta:

Peace.
