GDB's Thanksgiving Harvest

Good morning all.

I decided to wait and see how much the Grandaddy Blacks stretch before committing to supercropping the Purple Dream. So I've elevated all the shorter plants and raised the light to accommodate the Dream's height.

All of the plants are now just about equidistant from the light, with the Dream only being slightly closer than the other three. Lux is 48-50K. I'm hoping that the Purple Tahoe and the Dream are nearly done stretching, and that I can gradually lower the elevation of the GDBs as they stretch up.

That's somewhere between a "plan" and wishful thinking! :)

The GDBs are on the right. Dream is back left.

Most of my plans are wishful thinking. ;)
As long as they behave you'll be fine.
Everything is looking nice and flat for now. :welldone:
And freeken gorgeous.
Have a great day GDB. :passitleft:

It looks great in there today, GDB!

my Mrs. is always busy (and wants me to be too).
Just tell her you don’t want to upset the yin-yang balance of your relationship. For marriage.
Yin-yang, give and take, mutual respect, lots of love, she's right, you're wrong, etc...
once you master that last one, the rest will take care of themselves... 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Got it. "I don't feel like doing anything you said you want me to do. But you're right, those things need to be done."

Hello growers.

I just have a quick pic to show that the gang's all here.

It's Flip + 20 for the Purple girls (Dream, rear -- Tahoe, front). The Grandaddy Blacks on the right are on Flip + 5.

Despite my wishful thinking, the Purple girls appear to be still going up a bit. The GDBs have just begun their ascent.

In the 2x2, the Pineapple Express (Day 51) will be flipped this evening.

She has this much room to grow:

Where is the Fruit Punch auto?

Well, she's still around. I just removed her from the tent for the pics above. She's officially in the "I'm sick of looking at it" phase and I have vowed that the next pic I post of her will be her Obit pic. :)

Have a great day all!

Peace.

I count 3 tents ?Damn i thought I was doing to much
Only two are up and running, Mello. The 5x5 in the basement sits idle due to wifey's request that I not fire it up until after the holiday season.

Good morning gro-pros!

So far so good with my height manipulation plan. The Grandaddy Blacks on the right are definitely moving on up! I had them down to slightly below 10 inches in height when I flipped them 6 days ago and now both are 12 inches tall.
When they reach or slightly exceed the height of the Purple Dream (back left) I'll replace the milk crates they currently sit upon with the appropriate number of beverage carriers to bring them down a few inches. Then I'll do my best to ensure that the GDBs stay at the relative same distance from the light as the Dream throughout the stretch phase.

That's all I've got.

Thanks for visiting.

Hello all.

I've just been relaxing and not paying much attention to the plants. I figure at this stage they're gonna' do what they do without my eyes constantly on them. It's a place I like to be, not being so obsessive about the day-to-day developments but more trusting that I've got them set up to succeed. I've been able to do this since I've found ways to keep the bugs away! :)

In the 4x4 the Grandaddy Blacks continue to stretch on their day Flip + 7. The larger one (front left) has reached the height of the Purple Tahoe (back left). Good sign!

The Purple Dream (back right) got another bi-weekly dose of Uprising Bloom last night. But other than that all of these plants are getting mostly aged tap water only. They all get a weekly dose of silica and Recharge but Grow Dots are doing the rest. It's a lazy man's dream come true!
----------
In the 2x2, the Pineapple Express (Day 54) started getting some yellowing leaves a few days ago. So I postponed flipping her for a day, opting instead to give her a dose of Calmag Pro (8-0-0) instead. She's in a mix of Lush soil and concentrated super soil. I've had the super soil for about 3 years and it might not be what it used to be. So I've now put her on Root's Organics dry organic nutrients. Her first dose was last night and she will be flipped this evening.

----------
And here is the Obit pic of the little Fruit Punch auto. Her buds are hard and her time is up. I was trying to get at least an ounce off her but I doubt that's going to happen. Still, I may enter her in the Plant of the Month contest as a
bonsai. :laughtwo: I'll be taking her down tomorrow or the day after, after a bit of darkness. (That's a grinder in the pic for scale.)

For a guy who initially started growing in DWC, this grow has been a piece of cake! Barely a chirp from my Lazy-Meter or my Mrs., who often expresses her feelings that I spend too much time fussing over my plants! I'm slowly finding my way!

As always, thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Well, you  are getting pretty good at this "growing" thing ..👍😀
All of them are looking great, but the front row GDB's are exceptional!

* Mrs.C. has one of those bowls- I had no idea they were so versatile!
