GDB: Old Dog -- New Tricks

Highya GDB,

Congrats on the 2 in! By the looks of her, putting out pistils, she could be nearly finished with her "stretch". She's been in flowering light with the other two for the same time. But, it's good that she's gained some height, and good to see little white pistils here and there! Happy Smokin'
Thanks Bode. Yeah, she finally gained a few inches, but she resisted for as long as she could! It's actually a nice surprise to have her stay so squat. I'm not much concerned with quantity and I like different! :Rasta:

Hey, I forgot to tell Ya good job on those plants. I have never been able to trim my plants worth a shit. 🍋
Thanks Keith.

I see you watching Shed begin his training on one of his outdoor girls. That's a nice-sized plant for him to demonstrate how he goes about it. I'm sure you'll pick up a lot by watching. :Rasta:

that bloom stuff is some strong shit , will it wear off before its done ?
Well I won't be giving them anymore, Smoke. I'm not sure what you mean by "wear off." I don't think things will get much worse-looking than they are now. But hasn't it done enough? :)

Excellent trim job and congratulations on the 2"! Might even have to raise the light if this keeps up.

Different mindset. :thumb:
Okay, Shed.... "a work in progress." :Rasta:

Hello all.

It's Flip 16 for the Phase II girls and since she's been so desperately craving it, I decided to give the Godberry a little extra exposure! :)

Probably not even 2 inches between her bottom node and the next two above it.

Her tent-mates, the 2 Fat Kid's Cakes, don't pay her any attention. I thinks that's one of her issues!

Thanks for your time.

I will be watching as I am going to try and pull some of my stems out to get the sun. Not sure it will work but I am going to try. 🍋

Hello grow folk!

I got some pics of the remote Cosmic Lights this evening, courtesy of LB's wife!
It's her 65th day of life and the 20th day for her in the ground, outdoors.

I'm a bit surprised by two things. One, she doesn't seem that much taller. I was envisioning at least a 4 foot plant by now!

And second, she's starting to preflower already! I thought that would happen sometime in July! I'm not an outdoor grower though, so what do I know? :)

No matter! She looks happy and healthy to me! That's all I can ask for. :Rasta:

LB seems to be doing a wonderful job!

I'll be going to see her in person soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow. That soil still looks a little dry to me, so LB and I may have a discussion about that.

They'll be more pics soon!

PEACE

Don't stress the pre-flowers, this is Virginia grow weather, they'll start flowering real early here. I think it has something to do with the hot days and cold nights. My outdoor Strawberry-Lemonade is pre-flowering too, and she's been outside for almost 2 months. They are just pom-poms, they usually won't start to amount to anything till the end of July.

I think Godberry looks terrific, even next to her tent-mates. Heck, Spud Webb did alright in the end!
Thanks Shed. Here's to Spud Lite! :Rasta:

 Wow  Those thick stemmed shoots on that Godberry are made to handle weight.:cheer: It'll be nice to see a fat bottomed sumo shaped girl.:cheesygrinsmiley: Fat bottomed girls do make the world go round.:thumb:
Thick because she didn't waste much energy putting any space between the nodes, GW! :)

I think you may get both with that little lady...
and she's pretty, too👍
Thanks Carcass. She is producing some interesting pom poms! :Rasta:

Fat kids Cake LOL these new names just crack me up:laughtwo:🤣
I know right! If I ever try to do a cross that'll be my main motivation, I get to make up a name for it! :laughtwo:

So did your SL go through a reveg yet, Rhino?

Looking forward to seeing it, Keith! :Rasta:

She won't re-veg, this is the natural progression of things. (Usually) The plant will stretch, and the pom poms will have black tipped pistils and stay small at this time of year, they won't put on any real size until August. She'll be building flowers for months instead of weeks, outdoors. Slow walk to the finish line.
