GDB: Old Dog -- New Tricks

I agree with SO- you don't want to burn those plants up before "their time" šŸ˜

Even with low voltage connections (12v/usb) a loose connection will generate a dangerous amount of heat..

I calibrated my Photone app to the light itself. I can't remember how tf I did that but I followed instructions that I read on the app. Please, given that you grow with Vipar Spectra XS 1500 Pros, and that you will be comparing the Photone to a brand spanking new gadget, will you remember to report back on how accurate the Photone is by comparison?

Otter, same story. Please tell us how it goes. I have tremendous faith in the Photone app and I use it as my only yardstick.
Hi Carmen, my phone read low by 1000 points on 8000 on the scale I used so my Photone app was reading LOW for the actual light coming down. I have a screen saver covering the camera lens and I believe that made the loss of that 1000 points? Should be good now!!

Ok, feel the area and make sure it's not hot please.
I felt it. It's not hot.

I felt the same connection point on the 3 other six inch inlines I have running; none is hot.
We don't want a fire to happen when it can be helped! Don't make me get Bill!
No we don't Stone. But please don't call Bill! He'll bust down my front door with an axe! :Rasta:
I can send you the hand tools to get it done and we can do it online together if you'd like? I want my tools back though. I'll send you the caps too if that's in the way. Loose connections are no bueno!
That's very generous of you Stone! Sending a big bro' hug your way! šŸ’™
Well said SO!!!
I'm really moved by his level of concern, Bode!

Yet another caring, sharing grower chimes in. Thanks, Carcass.
Trying to keep GDB from burning the house down !! šŸ”„šŸ§‘ā€šŸš’šŸš’šŸ§Æ
And yet another warning! Thanks Smoke!
And about that shorty, it could be the winner of the least flop ever! A win's a win. šŸ…
Unfortunately she does not reach the Flop Council's minimum height requirement to be considered in the non-flop category.

Folks, I'm so appreciative of your efforts to spur me to avoid potential disaster. However, I really don't think that connection issue is that dangerous, especially since I've released the stress on the connection. I've contacted AC Infinity about the issue. I want to hear what they have to say.

---------------------------

Last night I took the Godberry out and took a solo pic of her. I'm hoping to put her on blast and shame her into joining the pom pom party.

Today it looks like that spotlight might have pissed her off a tad. Good! :Rasta:

She may be small but still looks nice. You are going to have a smaller good-looking plant. They can't all be big. You still have a small pots by my standards. I am trying figure out what size pots I am going to use but I know the pot size does not always determine the plant size. Don't piss her off she will make you pay. šŸ‹

Thanks Keith.

As quiet as it's kept (which isn't very quiet at all), I don't care for large plants. They're too hard for me to handle and make trimming an even more hated chore (if that's even possible).

I'm fine with the size of the Godberry! :Rasta:

Maybe just feel the connector every so often to make sure it's not getting hot...

She looks better today than yesterday- she may have gotten the message...

Thanks Keith.

Nice! Beautiful & healthy. My 4 assed monkeys šŸ’ are only a few days from chop & weā€™re all stout but a freebie from NASC= Trizkit has shown more leg. This is beginning of week 6 & 24ā€ tall in a 1 gallon pot. Iā€™m guessing maybe a couple more inches. (6ā€ in last 4 days)

Trizkit didn't get the notice about the height limitations, huh? Looking good @Chef Theo !

Good evening growers!

I'm looking forward! And when I look forward that means the scope comes out.

I took a bit off of the Lemon Bubble to look at this evening. I "plan" on taking her down around 4 days from now. I don't want much amber on this one!

I see a very little amber starting to appear. She's about to be history!

If nothing crazy happens over the next few days, the Lemon Bubble will be a free-stander at the end!

That's something I do pretty often Carcass. I'll begin checking the one on the fan too! :laughtwo:
She looks better today than yesterday- she may have gotten the message...
I hope so, Carcass. She never got your message about what she was supposed to do on day 53!
Then you are all set she looks healthy a really nice plant. šŸ‹
Thanks Keith. She could end up kinda' nice at the end, even if she's tiny!
One surprise pleasure I remember having was a Pinkman Goo that had to get flipped earlier than I expected. She grew so fat and frosty it was just awesome!
Wow. I ran a Goo for 167 days, about 105 of which were in flower. She was okay, but I think I got the "try it again" pheno!
Nothing like the dunce stool to get it sorted...let's see some pistils Godberry!

Hello grow folk!

I got some pics of the remote Cosmic Lights this evening, courtesy of LB's wife!
It's her 65th day of life and the 20th day for her in the ground, outdoors.

I'm a bit surprised by two things. One, she doesn't seem that much taller. I was envisioning at least a 4 foot plant by now!

And second, she's starting to preflower already! I thought that would happen sometime in July! I'm not an outdoor grower though, so what do I know? :)

No matter! She looks happy and healthy to me! That's all I can ask for. :Rasta:

LB seems to be doing a wonderful job!

I'll be going to see her in person soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow. That soil still looks a little dry to me, so LB and I may have a discussion about that.

They'll be more pics soon!

Highya GDB,

Cosmic Lights looks like she has pistils already. The sun is out way too long now for her to be flowering. I've understood that 14 hrs or under (not always) of sunlight will bring on the flowering stage. Are those white pistils on her? Maybe she's an auto? My ladies always show the pistils in late August. She's looking healthy, though! Whatever happens, she will have buds!! Happy Smokin'
