Ganesha's Tent

They don't seem to mind the brown sludge.. the whole bucket of water was a deep brown colour.
The flowering nutes seem to be blue greenish and less viscous.
But the biocanna vega nutes make their bottlesystem useless, shake it up and it looks like it's filled till the cap. I have to look at it from the top and then eye the 40ml mark which is just below the bend.

The watering when I popped them in the soil was with just Rhizotonic and the second one was with Rhizo & Vega at 63% percent of full dosage and that seems to be 27ml on 10l for the second vegetative phase.
I bought small bottles as litre bottles last me years which can't be great, I noticed with the Hesi nutes in one bottle some kind of organic film had formed.
So small bottles to use up in a couple of growths.

Also the Plagron soil felt pretty great, there's rough bits and twigs in it but the overall soil feels very airy yet all well connected? I guess with the sphagnum, it had a pleasant handfeel versus the DCM for Olives in the previous run.
Expensive though as there's no one in the immediate neighbourhood that carries it and shipping it is expensive although fair as driving to get it at the place that has it would easily cost the same, prolly bit more even. I could get four times the amount of reasonable universal soil around the corner for it.. so this better work! :D

I do feel better about the whole thing already as I've got root pouches instead of the air pots.. so any soil pests will be easier to contain and treat.. I've got soil for canna instead of for olives, it contains perlite and I've also layered the pots with perlite and soil which makes me feel a whole lot better about watering, drainage and aeration. so that whole situation at the bottom of the plant is already a lot better than the starting conditions of the previous run.

Channel + nr. 2 is getting there as well.

I've also found the perfect solution for under the root pouches, those metal grids would rust you can see some colouring top right side and well the water just still drips in the tent.. but now the insides of the airpots with a tray.. now I can water even if it runs down the side it will catch it and the bottom of the pouch remains dry.

Looks happy.

The plants look really good fender..I don't see any big problems.

Did you find any bugs?
mmmm mmmm I've had the last one go from looking really good to no functioning leaves at all during flowering in a short amount of time.
The right one at the moment seems okay, the left one definitely got something wrong going on, It's gotten way droopier and well those leaves dying like that ain't a normal progression... I'm waiting for the light to come back on again to see what's up.

I removed the bad leaves, as I'm like why would I leave something with necrosis in or attached to the system?
And I cleaned up a bunch of thieves and leaves under the lower net.. don't want a bunch of thin branches not being able to reach any light.
I'll admit it is looking good as the plants are still growing hefty.. and it might turn out my most efficient grow yet in this tent as I'm getting the whole area covered with just the two plants and all of that is still happening within a canopy of 30-35 cm's of height at the moment that will change soon.
Kinda wish I had a bit more power light as it's just going to be the 140-ish watts of the SP-150

I bought some demineralised water for the next feed which will be the first flower nutrients, but It's gonna be a few days until they evaporated the flush water.

The two main buds are sticking out a bit but overall it's a pretty even affair.. I'm happy, pretty efficient growing as I managed to keep it compact, not a lot of plant material but a nice amount of buds.

@Bill284 any other tips to maximise yield from here on?
Good afternoon my friend, hope you are well.
Garden is freeken amazing. :yahoo:
Is that a Mars Hydro 300?
Turn it up to 100 % drop it down as low as you can and still get your foot print.
Lots of air flow , 80 f,ish and 55 rh area and feed max nutrients according to the schedule.
Do not take any more leaves. :Namaste:
You have a fan underneath?

Stay safe

All's well.. nope half of that it's only the 150 so no dimmer, yeah I've been experimenting with that if I drop it I start to lose the corners a bit I feel, currently it's 15" above the main buds, but I'm letting them grow into it now.
No fan underneath though, I've got 1 fan top down moving the plant which runs 15 minutes on and off, and I have the exhaust running as well also for 15 minutes on and off and that one pulls air from outside through the holes at the bottom to the top and also keeps humidity in check.. humidity hovers between 40 & 65 depending on where in the fan cycle. I've tried to match it so that when the fan is not running the exhaust is but with analog timers there's a bit of drift.

I feel the plants behaved quite alright and were pretty happy with Bill's alternate Soil & Perlite layering in the pots, I'm certainly going to keep doing that, thanks a bunch!

3 weeks have gone by since flipping to 12/12. Package says 7-8 week flowering period so just over a month to go.
Can't wait as it's really looking good, if I peak under the leaves the buds are stacking nicely.

Wow just perfect, what a freeken garden. :yahoo:
Love the white fuzzy helmet stage.
Take care my friend. :passitleft:

Yeah at the moment it's looking close to perfect, I'm even thinking two grams per watt will be highly likely if things continue along this line.. as a lot of them look like they want to grow long full buds.
Best tent grow with this setup so far :slide:I'm glad I've gone with the Plagron light mix, seems like a good soil which I can easily get around here.. I like I went with the light as that gives me a bit more confidence with feeding full strength nutrients although I did flush even now before going flower feed as using my tapwater does run into trouble so now I'm using distilled topped up with a couple of cups of tap which acts as ph+, haven't used ph- since using the distilled water.
The layering method is a big help, and using the two nets!! oh boy creates loads of buds with LST and keeps everything very manageable.

Cheers!

We're at the end of week 4 since switching to 12/12 starting week 5 tomorrow, they just had their nutrients.
Sigh the coming weeks are hard as you just see them swell a tiny bit each day.. I can't wait to see how they are going to end up as it's the first time I've got such a nice even carpet all buds more or less same distance from the light.

For scale..
I make sure they get some strong winds from the larger fan each day, I've got the lights low, looks like they are using up water faster as well.
And crazy everything is still contained in the bottom 65cms of the tent..
This is a far left corner bud
IMG_0684.JPG
I'm levelling the lighter with the lowest buds after the branch bends up there's even more to be had on the horizontal part
IMG_0687.JPG
And I know how this strains flowers the final form will dwarf the current situation
This is gonna end up pretty crazy if everything keeps on keeping on. Where's that dancing emoji :slide:
