Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

Morning Major and friends....how's all today Major....today is transplant day over at my place but thought I'd come over to say hello before i get started ....fu...k my pots are heavy!:tokin: Have an awesome Sunday bud!:Namaste::high-five:

Right back at you!
I'm looking forward to seeing them explode in those big pots. Cheers!

I took some pic's yesterday, but I feel like I should wait to update this journal until I have something new to report. Each week's photos look pretty much the same as the week before. <_< I'm having a difficult time getting decent photos. The plants are growing together and there isn't room for me to capture each one.

I'm thinking it is still 2-3 weeks until anything like buds form. So I won't call this an "Update", but here is where things were as of yesterday. The only things of note I can think of are:
ZD(+) is now at 7'. Of course outdoors they aren't going to stretch like they do from an indoor flip.
We are having ideal weather this week (for cannabis). Temp's in the 80's, humidity is slightly above average, light breezes. :thumb: Next week - not so much. We go back into the mid-90's.

Oh - and I had "the talk" with my neighbors. The male plant next door is gone! However the hermie is still there and appears to be growing/reveg'ing. :( Oh well. Really not a big deal to me, but it might piss-off some others in the neighborhood. I tried...

I see more pruning in my future. :cheesygrinsmiley:
I should grab some brix readings! I'll be back once I have them. At least it is something a little different.

Get out there and keep 'em green, my friends! :Namaste:

Nice trees!!! Did GT straighten up for you?

Sent from my SM-G935R4 using 420

Jesus major........been gone a month or two come back and boom.......I'll have to go back and catch up......but A+ job dude.......your gonna have so much to gift away......lol.

My fav is prolly the GG #4.....I love that strain locally......
Welcome back Nate! Glad to see you around the forum.
I keep changing my mind. One week it is ZD. Then it is LH. Now GG4 is looking like a lot of goodness to me. It also has the consistently highest brix readings.

That is great news! Whoot whoot!

:thumb:
Thank you muchly! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Not completely, but it did improve some. Dunno if the sulfur made a difference. I was conservative with it. The leaves pretty well straighten out once they are mature, then end up with a little 'N' claw. Probably just my soil mix is a little too hot for GT and ZD.

Major...they're "stupid" big brotha....really Major...i think your soil is a OK bud! next Q....have you thought about who will help you FOR DAYS! when it comes time to trim.... Excellent so far....YEEPA ...they're freekin huge!:thumb:
My wife took a good look at them today, came up the hill and asked me the exact same thing, "Who the heck is going to trim all that?". Good question!

If some neighborhood thug were to spill a 3ml syringe of straight glycol under the hermi it would.....uh, nevermind. Just thinking out loud again. Sorry.

Looking might fine Major. :thumb:
Thanks Rifleman! :high-five:

:thankyou: ALL!!

It all looks pretty mean, Mjr. I'm sure you can go about your day checking occasionally if the hermi drops any pollen without losing your mind, and then come up with a brilliant twist that breaks the tie :thumb:

Here are today's brix readings. I took a few of them twice to double-check my results using less mortar and pestle action. As always, I have a difficult time getting photos through my refractometer's eyepiece. These are the best of what I captured. The brix readings are as I see them with my eye to the refractometer - not what the camera shows.

Calibration to zero

Ace of Spades = 21 & 22 from two leaves/readings

Zamaldelica(=) pulled an 18 & 20 from two leaves/readings
I tried different lighting, but it sucked, so I went back to the other.

Liberty Haze is staying at the bottom with an 11. Not sure why she is always at the bottom. She appears super healthy and similar to GG4, which has the highest reading. Go figure...

Golden Tiger(+) managed a 21

Last but certainly not least is Gorilla Glue #4 with a difficult to read 23

Never thought nor said he was. My mind just tends to wander toward the hypothetical. :)

Congrad's on the MotM. You deserve it. You do alot of networking on here, that's a good thing. I stopped doing the contests thing along time back. That's just me I feel there are alot of people that do alot more than me and are more deserving. Keepem Green

Thanks Norcal!
Don't get me wrong. I'm stoked to win the MotM, but the nomination means even more to me. I'm here because I want to be and for no other reason. I like to hang out in the FAQ/problem solver threads. Sometimes I think I can help others, but I'm always learning from both the problems I see, as well as the advice given by other members. That includes you.

Wow Major, those are some damned good readings!

I'm not surprised they were high because those leaves are amazing, even from an outdoor plant! The shine must be interesting to see in person, with all that sunlight reflecting off them! Color is gorgeous, posture is gorgeous ...

We haven't had a lot of Brix readings from outdoor plants. I wonder if they read a little higher. I don't suppose these leaves were taken at sunrise or sunset ... during the day there might be heat/light/humidity effects.
