Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

Hey Major,....OK , everyone relax,..."Dugg's Northern Security Services" has this,....OK! The "five" girls are being monitored 24/7.
Major , you don't have to worry about the detonators...things are set to go in a rapid , sequencing, group . The cameras, pressure sensors and trip wires are the triggers for the "sequence" to start. If house entry is imminent by thieves,... they will trigger further "human deterrent" obstacles, giving you and your family plenty of time to react. No worries....:wood:
Are you worried at all of the "stressed two", going hermie on ya? Major,....how does Mrs. Pita like the "five"?
Cheers pal, have an awesome night ....and gang!:circle-of-love:
Evening duggan!

The Mrs. doesn't really care all that much about their outcome. She just hates to see any plant get pitched in the compost pile. Shoot, she has tomatoes and squash going to hell from lack of attention this year.

I do keep a close eye on them in case they decide to switch teams. I'm ready to chop 'em at a moment's notice.

You and the entire security team take the night off. Stellas on me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hi Major P I'm wondering about bud development down the road ... will there be a heavy trimming for example to get more light into the interior of these 'bushes'?
Hi bear-

I'll see how they look when the time comes. I don't plan on a lot of defol'. Indoors I'd do it, but the sun does a good job of saturating the entire plant with plenty of PAR. The buds I'll want are all going to be up top and in direct light. I can only trim and consume so much, so a lot of this produce will be gifted or thrown out. Yield isn't really a goal for me, and as long as they stay reasonably healthy, it won't become one. Based on my previous grows, the plants tend to lose the older large fan leaves all on their own and pretty well open up automatically. We'll see...

So far, my biggest problem in getting good finishes to my grows, has been spider mites. If I need to clear out the internal foliage to help control those little bastardos, I definitely will. I hate spraying anything once they are flowering.

Basically, I'm a lazy grower and trimmer. Thanks for stopping by!

Splendid looking lot you've got there Major! :goodjob:

Totally with you on the 'lazy' grower and trimmer comment :battingeyelashes:( having said that - and looking at you and Mrs P's beautiful garden, you're clearly not lazy, just not obsessed with interfering with your girls unless necessary )

Hope the week is treating you right :Namaste::high-five:

Can anyone give me an idea what is going on with Golden Tiger(+)? It has been doing this all along. She is healthy and growing fine but all new growth has twisted, light leaves with nearly yellow tips. This strain does not care for 'N' so she hasn't gotten much. I've gone over all the problem solvers and deficiency/toxicity charts. This one has me stumped.

:thankyou:

Hey Major, it's almost like they are in a richer , than wanted soil. Waddaya think? Just a little too rich for her blood....maybe eh, dunno bud.:Namaste:

That's all I can come up with as well. What is surprising is the Zamaldelica doesn't do the same thing. Even though they are close relatives maybe the genetics are just enough different so one is happy and the other is "on the edge". Thanks for the input!!

Major: f I wanted to grow another Sativa strain, what would you recommend that doesn't stink up the whole house? ;)

I'm afraid I'm not much of a resource on that one. My previous grow with the GT(+) was my first pure Sativa. Now I've got the ZD(+) to compare, but it is too early. I can say the GT(+) wasn't over powering in its smell and the smell it has is bright, citrus-lime. Not the typical skunk or fuel odors. I don't think a Golden Tiger or a Zamaldelica would stink up a house.

And of course, scent will dissipate better outdoors than in a cramped single-wide mobile home. But I can live with a citrusy or floral scent. The OGK's I grew smelled like a diesel spill mixed with lemon Thai, depending on their mood at the time.

My previous grow with GT was in the shower. While I'm not concerned with odor, it certainly is apparent in that confined space. :high-five:

Good evening major. To me it didn't look like all of the tips were yellow, could be just the angle or a shadow, but is it only on the top toward bud sites and newer growth?

All new growth does it but as the leaves mature they end up looking pretty normal. They seem maybe slightly stunted and keep what looks like excess 'N' claw until old.

My GTHs were showing the same thing. It's either calcium deficiency or magnesium locked out. But basically it's a problem in the root zone. The root doesn't grow enough to support the new growth or doesn't have space to scout for micronutrients.

AK, what hoot! LMAO. I know eh, some strains can really reek! This Kosher Kush , for example, if left out to breath....it has a powerful, organic , here i am , smell to it.:) GF says it's gross...i just love it!:high-five:
Cheers Major, AK, and friends.:circle-of-love:

LMAO, like my wife says, yuck it smells like puke, and I smile and say I know right?! It's weird.

Your tree farm is looking good and so are the bushes lol I'm getting pistils on my Bbk but my Bubba just finally started growing 3 and 5 finger leaves again. So i have no idea if its go time or not the LL might be starting to stretch.
That Gt has a similar look to what my LL did after the first cold snap we had it has straitened out though.

Major, my first instinct for those leaves was heat - too hot. :hmmm: Has it been hot/dry/windy lately?

Hi GT!
No - not particularly. We've had below average temperatures and she has been doing this all along. We've been from the low 70's to the mid-80's for the past few weeks. Thanks for the feedback, and for stopping in!

Hopefully, she'll grow out of it. You could try a flush then afew drops of superthrive incase it's just in need of some vitamins or some B-1. Looks like somethings alittle hot. GL Keepem Green

I was thinking back and i added some cal/mag to the compost tea since they went to flower and were revegging. Both the Kush plants showed deficiency on the new growth and i decided to just water my LL with the same tea. It just didn't register till I read NorCal's post.
