Let's see. It's Wednesday so it must be time for an
Update (Week 22 of Veg)
Really not much to report. Water, water, and more water. I give each of the girls in the ground 4-6 gallons every few days. The two plants in 25 gallon pots get 4 gal and some GH Flora nute's since they are in unamended HP Promix.
I get the impression my amended soil mix may not be quite acidic enough. I've measured it every way I can, but am still not sure. I'm going to do a test on GT(+) and give it some sulfur to see how it does.
On to the photo dump du jour...
First up are my culls, AKA "The Wild Childs". These two spikey little gals won't give up in spite of neglect. The stress of being thrown in the compost pile for a day along with a photoperiod change made them do a sort of reveg. They are blooming in a half-assed sort of way while growing three fingered leaves. It will be interesting to see how they finish.
This is the Liberty Haze in a 25 gal. soft pot after her peticure.
This is Grape Ape x Sensi Star.
On to the main garden, starting with the central Zamaldelica(+). She is at 7' but sits a few inches above ground. The top of the wood lath on the surrounding fence posts are at 7'
Liberty Haze has been my fav', then fell out of favor, but she may be back. She only stands 4' tall but she is 5' across.
Golden Tiger(+) is going to be my guinea pig to see if I'm correct in adding acid to my soil mix.
Gorrila Glue #4, the youngest and smallest of the girls is catching up with LH.
Ace of Spades. This strain likes to yellow and drop old leaves like nothing else I've grown. It also has the toughest petioles on the planet, which makes no sense. This old lady is 6' across and about the same height.
Group shot. I thought I allowed adequate room, but it is getting difficult to walk around them in places.
LH=lower left, GG4=lower right, ZD(+)=center, AS=upper left, GT(+)=upper right
That's all I've got for this week. Plenty of new pistils now but I'm waiting to call it "bloom" until at least the end of the month unless something changes in the next week.
Until next time,
