Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

Hey MP

Sorry to hear your dilemma continues. All you can really do is try and reason with them, which can suck because some people are just so pig headed they can not see past their own personal greed. Even if they do throw pollen to the air, there is always a chance you could be missed and still have a descent grow. I wish you the best my friend:circle-of-love:

Good evening, my friends! (or whenever you read this)
I trimmed up the whopping 20 grams from my Pig and Duck micro grow. Duck pulled 6 grams and Pig managed 14 grams.
It's not much, but it was fun to grow as a side project. I gotta say, it turned out to be some pretty sticky, stinky, decent smoke!

Awesome looking trees you have going there Major! :thumb: I was thinking...if it wouldnt cause trouble with the misses, you could 'trade' your 2 AoS culls for his plants. Even with the hap-hazard care they have been getting they have to look better.

Drive bye Cool little plants. Do look frosted. Like you said side prodject but they do come in handy. I've been smoking on some auto some out back. Fun to harvest a early plant. Hope she smokes well. Keepem Green

Excellent suggestion! My wife suggested it too, and the neighbors are welcome to them. Their two problem plants look really sad - like ghost plants.

Some possible good news. We've been getting quite a bit of rain. In fact, a crazy amount for July. I'm hoping it will rinse any remaining pollen off the neighbor's male and hermie. I lost a branch on the AoS from the added weight. I knew I was pushing my luck with the way they are not being supported. No big loss and it got me down there yesterday to add some support to most of the rest.

Our weather roller coaster took another big dip. We went from mid-90's to upper 60's in two days with plenty of rain. I was bored so while I wait for something to happen on the fun end of the plants, I grabbed stumpage photos from the business end of things using my trusty Pitbull lighter for scale.

Ace of Spades - still with her old broken branch repair.

With a break in the rain I also grabbed a quick ZD(+) headshot. She's taller than me now.

The interlopers from my neighbors next door. Male on the left, hermi on the right, likely female in the center (the only healthy one) with lots of raspberries in the background.

Loving the branch formation on your plants Major. Very cool!:riskybusiness:

I had a feeling we were going to get another cold snap at least its not as cold as last time my plants were so confused.
That pic of your plant with the clouds and blue sky looks tropical its an awesome pic.
Maybe a sprinkle of weed n feed on the male and hermie i have been wondering if that stuff would kill a cannabis plant.
That male looks spent anyways though, i tried to keep mine alive in the breeding box but once he finished he just died.
Oh man it just hit me if he plucked the seeds off the hermie your problem is way worse than those two plants and if it is still producing seeds they are probably hitting the soil around that hermie and going to germinate with all the rain we have had. Your neighbor needs an education fast.

Thanks redmud!
You got it. The hermi looked to have viable seeds - not many, but more than enough to become an annual, perpetual PITA.

You said your neighbors were away. Did any of them ask you to watch over their special plants? Maybe you can cover them with fine cloth mesh to keep them from spreading their wild oats, without actually killing them. Better to ask forgiveness than for permission? ;-)

Ignorance. When one first starts the hobby, he/she thinks everything needs to be saved at all costs. Males can be used for edibles and butters, if they are not a part of a controlled breeding program.

When the boy gets home, have him help you pick HIS seeds out of YOUR harvest. Meanwhile, you can explain the etiquette of outdoor growing to him. He'll get the point if he has to remove seeds from your harvest.
