First Time Grow - The Incredible Bulk Feminized

I have Silica blast just make sure you keep an eye on the nitrogen level. I knowine says it has none . Mine is bionic or something like that . Literally called silica blast.

I don’t use it much but I would def agree with turbo bucket there and go small to start .

Meh you got it bro . I’m just hiding innback ground giving you suggestions bro all I can do is hope to get you a great garden with 420 magazine quality buds

This is an amazing site! I used to read light addicts journals on here and steal his fluxing techniques but I had no idea how awesome everyone was. I mean this guy has never grown and has a whole crew of amazing growers having his back before his seeds even broke ground. Freakin beautiful!

Hi mate, thanks for reading along and taking time to post. I had been reading/lurking for years on and off and to be perfectly honest I couldn't have found a better place to look for advice, not only does this site have a great layout with easy navigation, it has the friendliest, most up-to-date growers with all the best techniques and tips. These guys really have been a great hand in filling in gaps in my knowledge lol. Hopefully, many more grows will follow as a result :)

I think it's pretty sweet how everyone comes together to help out. I would love to do a journal on here one day. However I think paranoia would kill me as I live in a communist state lol.

Day 15

ok, so a lot has happened since my last post, made the lights go full circle so I could change lights off time to 4am to 8am, for my convenience, during which the extractor fan is timed to switch off as well as the high powered inlet fan, this was an effort to keep heat in during lights out and also keeping humidity up for longer than usual. It worked well last night as expected. I watered with their first nutes at 3am this morning, the recommended amount was 1ml per litre so I went slightly less than half that amount, I mixed 4ml with 10L of room temp water, ph between 6 and 6.5, then watered till around 15/20% run off, ph tested run off, no surprises there. When I checked on them the same day at 11am they were looking a little droopy, I wondered if it might be too many nutes since its allmix soil and it already has some mixed in. The thing is that even at this time they havnt perked up :s The leaves seem dry and are a slightly crisp feel, one or two plant leaves had tips curled down more so than the rest of that leaf, like a claw almost, nutrient burn was my first thought after a little reading. But then I noticed one had slight yellow on an edge and looked like some sort of burn. I've now got 9 lights running which I setup just before I fed them, at the same time i moved all the lights up to around 11" away from plants top. I feel like I've just done too many things at once and now I can't determine anything lol. Also I have some fresh white roots poking out of the bottoms of my pots, is it time for transplant? Sorry for long post and crap pics, my phone with good cam is on the blink.

Possible reasons for symptoms:

1, too much nutrient. I only went by the 10L size of my water holder when considering how much nutrient to add. I've since filled it up using a jug with 1 litre at a time and found that it holds more like 9 litres, that just means I was closer to half recommended dose than I thought.

2, wind burn. I've had the fans a little closer than normal and notched the speed up 1 setting within the last 30 hours. Moved them away 3 hours ago now.

3. Too hot, heat stress. I've added lights recently, so at one point, it may have been too hot for too long. I'm in the process of adding an extra inlet, if I add any more its gonna be like I've got the door on my grow room half open, I do have the door half open right now because of the higher temperatures.

4, not enough light? I doubt it, but who knows, I'm monitoring the situation closely, hoping they soon get over what ever it is I've done to them.

Your looking fine man no worries yet. It looks more like the plants can't breathe. Are they wet in photos from sweating? Or did your spray/water them?

Reassuring mate cheers, I guess even with that I'm still gonna worry. They seemed dry so I had misted a little before the pic was taken, humidity was at 25% at the time, it is too dry in there, I'm misting the walls alot which does help but I'd have to be on it like a mo fo to keep it constant.

@Cannabahashed So....I’m looking at these photos you posted and trying to find evidence of these symptoms you are describing. It’s like trying to find Waldo without my glasses: I’m looking everywhere and seeing nothing.

Breathe.

Your girls looks good overall. They have been making roots, so they seem to be getting what they need.
