First Time Grow - The Incredible Bulk Feminized

Well there goes the neighborhood, most of the crew has made it in here now.:thumb:
Sup bucket yup I’m screwed now

Well at least I got the guy an army lol

@Kingjoe83 - HI KJ, what did I miss? hahahaha
That bending of the stem you said it helps with stacking correct makes like a zig zag in stem up tops is there a name for that trick of yours ? Not tip spreading lol

HAHAHAHAHA awwww thanks KJ, but it has nothing to do with pinching, it's Light Addicts Tip Spreading technique. I think you have the link for that. Also, I think the pinching is more for supercropping so the stem doesn't break off.

Do you want me to get the link KJ? Thanks for the invitation!

No you just told me the other day you bend the mains a slight pinch which allows the cola to stack even better you just told me lol

Please allow me to humbly refresh your memory @Kingjoe83, KJ, I know there is a lot to remember. Here are my exact words.

"*It's actually called "Tip Spreading" to achieve bigger bud formations. Plants will stack themselves for sure. But when you gently spread the tips you are opening the bud site for more light to enter. By spreading the tips, it creates a zigzag in your stalk, thus allowing buds to stack on each other. It promotes stacking even more and reduces space between nodes too. I hope this is a better explanation than my photos. "

Never mind i remember you telling me about this other thing you must have forogot or something never mind. I know about tip spreading . Thanks anyways

Hey @Kingjoe83 - I have a terrible memory yes I do, but our only conversations have been in my journal, and that is all that I found. Please enlighten me because all of our conversations are in writing and I've backtracked like crazy. Now I'm curious too. :passitleft:
It was there it doesn’t matter too spreading is opening the new growth fans up simple but yours was pinching the main stem between nodes I believe which ultimately allows as the buds get bigger for them to stack up better and also mayeb reduce height a bit as well. I saw it on your thread I swear it . I even engaged in convo with you .

Nonetheless move on if you don’t know what I’m talking about no point arguing anymore right .

Thanks anyways

Oh..:D this place sure filled up fast. looks like you assembled the troops while I was asleep kingjoe lol. Thanks for coming along for the ride guys, with this many heads in the room, hopefully, it will be a smooth one.

Been out to buy PH up and PH down since I tested the water and it was between 7 and 7.5, added a tiny amount of PH down (a drop) into my 10 litre water container and that sorted it, now have a container of PH 6 water ready to go when the time comes.

Remember though always add ph down last after all your nutes and what not .

Don't forget about stalk shaking every day before you spread your tips! That sounds dirty.... I love it!

*Oh hey, KJ, we're not arguing, I'm trying to jog my memory, it's good to find out. You just have to remember if you're quoting something I said, be sure to go and get my words because I find that really helpful because of my brain injury.

So I found our conversation and here we go. Just in case Cannabahashed is curious as to what we're talking about, thought it would be nice to show the tutorial at the same time.

Here we go @Kingjoe83 @Cannabahashed

This was the ONLY tutorial I gave in my journal and I'd be happy to share it here.

"Lady Grow Tips...

Did you know...that you can increase your yield by simply pulling leaves out slightly, to open up the crevice between the node and the leaf. Also, by adding additional sunlight into those important nodes, it will also give you more width to your buds.

WHY do tip spreading?

Sweet Coffee Ryder

As you can see in my photo a zigzag pattern at the top of my primary stalk. From mid veg to early flower I am gently pulling the leaves apart and this creates the zigzag pattern.

How does this create wide and big buds?

When you have a zigzag pattern you are decreasing the stretch between internodes. So instead of letting the plant stretch up, I'm kinda training for width. You continue doing this right up past the stretch. It's tedious work, but if you have ocd tendencies like me, then you'll be happy to have something to work on everyday.

This will give you full buds, without the cost."

EDIT: ALL credit for this technique goes to Light Addict - Tip Spreading & Node Stacking

Yea @Grow2HealMe my brain has short term memory so I screenshot usually let me see . But it’s all good .

We good @Kingjoe83 - we both have terrible memories, no blame, it's all the same, just pass me some meds and may I borrow your flame. hahahahaha

Hey @Cannabahashed - Love your cat picture btw.

Here is the result of tip spreading, same stalk from the pic I posted above.

Have a great day, I wish you the very best. Thank you for allowing me to post in your journal.
