You can fit four Vero 18's and a fan.

I got 3 or 4 weeks to go, and I got red spider mites, I'm debating on spraying, I have some MITE MASSACRE. I just hate spraying this late in run, my 1st bugs in 2 years, I knew it was bound to happen,my RH is 25%

Red mites don't care about humidity. I spray them if you plan on restarting a new crop right away. They are bastards and hard to get rid of without pesticides. The only way to get rid of them without pesticides is with ladybugs. You can order them online.

You can spay a little. Wait a day or two then foliar wash before you "send in the troops" to finish them off.
You can keep LB's in the fridge.

Spray with the pesticide first. The LBs will probably be there next week. Red mites can ravage a crop in days. Then spray foliar h2o to get the pesticide off a day before the lbs arrive. May have to water spray a few times to reduce the pesticide.

How many watts was this unit advertised as?

The advertised wattage is totally confusing.
Its suppose to be equivalent to 600w hps (lol) as stated in the title of the advert.
In the specifications: -

- ITEM TYPE: Dominator 600W COB LED Grow Light
- LED QUANTITY: 2PCS
- LED POWER: 600W
- LED TYPE 300W Epistar LED
- POWER CONSUMPTION: 130W+5% energy saving
- DIMENSIONS: 330*185*85mm
- EMITTING COLOR: Full Spectrum Color (Veg & Bloom)
- BEST VEG-BLOOM SPECTRUM WAVELENGTH: RED(620-630nm;650-660nm); BLUE(440-450nm;450-460nm); ORANGE(600-610nm); IR(730nm) WHITE(3500K;6000k) UV(395-410nm)
- INPUT VOLTAGE(V): AC85V-265V
- QUIET FANS, PRECISION DRIVERS, SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP

Im sure your probably thinking how did i fall for it, but i jus saw that it was a COB and thought it would be better than my Mars reflectors, so fell for it. Then i find out about CREE and realised i bought the wrong COB light. So now i would like to replace the 2 COB's and hopefully replace them with better COB's.

:high-five:

Omg. I know that light. People send me links all the time asking why my 10 cob led sells for $1200 at only 478w while "The dominator 1800w" sells for $699.
My usual answer is ...."Chinese light manufacturers are huge freaking liars!"

How the F&$k that "superior craftsmanship" compares to my hand made arrays I'll never know.

Would they be almost as good as the CREE'S ?
OBV they will be a hell of a lot better than the 2 COB's it came with.
When you say replace with '4' Vero 18's, do you mean 4 in one of the lights or 2 in each of the 2 lights i have ?
And would this be as easy as scraping off the COB fitting and simply replacing it with the new Vero 18's or would i have to solder the existing wires off and back on again ?
And would i need to add another fan or would the 2 it already has be enough. It already has 2 COB's, 2 heatsinks and 2 fans.

Sorry for so many questions, but this is all new for me and im excited to learn and really appreciate the help and advice.
Will keep you updated on how it all goes :)

:thanks:

Honestly I would dump those drivers and use Meanwell HLG's. You can turn that shmo into pro. Epistar is garbage. My first array I built was eBay Epistar chips. Chips started failing after the first Grow. Some of the drivers actually melted.
The Vero 18 does not compare to a CXB unless you use twice as many Vero 18's. The Vero 29 competes with the CXB. But Vero is MUCH cheaper. Less than half the price. The huge advantage to Vero 18 is the price at $12 per cob plus. Vero makes a 1700k HPS replacement that no other company makes in cob format. There's a video test onenpage back of the v18 1700k " meatchip". I'm actually running 6 in my 2x4 right now and am doing a "in tent par test" tonight.

hahahahahaha yeah thats the one, im even more ashamed to say tho that it gets even worse than that :/ well i supose it might be better depending on how you look at it, as i didnt buy the 1800W one with 9 fixtures i bought the 600W one with 2 COB fixtures was luckily on £116, but i did buy 2 of them.

Hopefully tho if i can install some decent COB's into them they might not go to waste.
And i know i dont know how they can get away with such untrue details when selling on E-bay/Amazon, i thought they would have at least the slightest quality control on the stuff they allow sold on their site, but i have learned otherwise now. (hey suppose thats another lesson iv learned out of all this, might not have been a complete waste of time and money after all :) )

Wow would aboslutly love to one day build something even close to that, hopefully soon enought but not confident enough to even try right now. Amazing that though, real "superior craftsmanship" for sure :D

Are they both CREE's and Vero's ?

:goodjob:
:bravo:
:high-five:
