Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

My thoughts on those products (and I don't know what EM1 is....) are quite simple:

If the soil test calls for such a product to bring all major and minor elements into balance, then I'd be happy to use one or both!

So the EM1 is a probiotic agent if you will. I add some EM1 with 1/2 hot water and 1/2 water that has sat, along with molasses. It has to cook for a few days for the critters to grow and be happy. It essentially harmonizes the soil biota. According to the guy this stuff eats organic material to increase soil energy, just like the kit. On 1/2 acre it could take up to 2 years to get the soil set for microbes. Once it's set it's a rolling ecosystem. I was impressed with the info. It is definitely not some fast fertilizer bullshit. Low and slow, kinda like my cooking, giggity. By reading all of these brix posts over the years the info I learned was easy peasy to understand. I must get balance with a soil test, without it I'm flying blind regarding conditioning.

Hey Gaffle:

1. You don't want microbes that eat mollasses! You want them to eat rocks. That's why mine come along with rock powder.

2. Eating organic matter is all well and good.....but really we want them to eat minerals and rocks. That's what the kit does.

3. As for testing the soil, I can test for microbial health at the same time I test for everything else. It takes 2 to 3 weeks, not 2 to 3 years.

Once you get a soil test it can be amended immediately and it will improve over the next 2 to 3 years.

Why not save some money and frustration and find out what your soil actually needs instead of guessing? PM me when you're ready....

Hiya!

Need some advice... I always freak out at the end when the girls are giving up the ghost and realize their reproductive window is ending... I'm in the window now for harvest on both the Super lemon Haze and the Tangielope. Both are 7-9 weeks flower. Right now...52 days since flip. I just gave a GE drench a few days ago. I used 15ml in 3 gal of water. They are in 10 gallon pots. I gave each 1.5 gallons. My Super lemon Haze is crispy on the edges but the Tangielope still seems ok. Do I need to do something different or is this just the end cycle of their life? Here are tent pics tonight. They stopped stretching quite a while ago...they are drying out about every 4 days. They stink to high heaven...I need to order a new filter! The tent is about 88 and humidity 45-55.

Edit; 3 ml tea also in the 3 gal of water split between

88 is hot. That's probably why SLH is so crispy.

:Namaste:
Ok... makes sense. I turned up the fans. We had non-cannabis friends over and shut the door to the laundry area where they are. That kicked up the heat in there. She's likely more sensitive than the Tangielope. Thanks Gray! We are close to the end so I won't stress it. I'll keep trying to hold the environment.:)

OK...humidity is back up to the low 60s and the temp is 75. Aside from a little crispiness here and there, they look OK. I just need to get rid of our non-cannabis friendly friends! It's a "Love me...love my plants" kind of thing...:battingeyelashes: Have a great day Gray and all!

They look really great. I read a tip from Doc the other day about spraying a de-stress at the end. Might be something to look into. The hard work is done now its the waiting game, congrats. So did Blue Dream make the ticket for next round?

I think our Lady is doing a side by side of 2 different Maui Wowie next... am I right m’Lady. I requested and the Lady kindly obliged - a testament to an old and happy memory we both have ;) And I’m really looking forward to that show!

Otherwise, if you’ve changed your mind and want to do a Blue Dream instead, then that would be fun too - because I plan to drop one in a month myself!

Yup...I read that too JM. I plan to do a de-stress on Saturday when hubby goes out cycling. The girls are pretty ripe and he hates the smell! Their perfume is already leaking out of the tent. lol Just wait until chop day! I'll have to send him off with my brother in-law for the day!

Will do Duggs!

Morning all! Have a very Green and HIGH Brix day!

The ladies are none the worse really from the tent overheating. Obviously I can't fix the crispy leaves, but they are not getting worse. The humidity is about 55 and the temps hovering about 75. Pretty much coasting from here. I'll hit them with a de-stress tonight just after lights go on.

Cheers!:passitleft:
