Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Hi folks,

When comparing Doc Buds instruction to Maxyeields and doing the conversions to the same unit of measurement it seems that Doc Buds instructions would have me using more product per plant mixed with water...

Any opinions will be much appreciated

Thanks

Any opinion welcome....OK. Here's mine:

You're overwatering. let them get dry between waterings., but keep the fabric moist.

As for what I think of the various feeding schedules, I'm pretty open about what I do. I use more product than Max, but I probably have more light and also C02 enrichment.

Doc

I might have asked this before, I don't remember, my mind has been pretty forgetful lately.

anyway, until I get a fresh batch of brix soil going, I am just gonna use my own mineralized potting soil blend.

Would it still be beneficial to use the destress on some clones in potting soil in solo cups?

And to use Brix as a foliar when transplanted?

This de stress is off the hook Doc. My clones root so much faster WTF lol. Usually with Triangle kush x Dr grinspoon it took 2 weeks or longer. Now its like 8 to 10 days..roots popin out like crazy.

My clones since switching to the kit seem to just root in general way quicker. I just took two cuttings from my Moonshine ghost train maybe 5 days ago and they're already rooted, didn't even spray them with DeStress.

Hi Baybreeder,

What medium are you using to root your clones? Are you spraying de stress after you take the cuttings?

As of late I've been using rockwool. I spray 1/2 strength de stress after I make the cut. I keep heat mat set at 75 degrees.

Good to know :thanks:

Top of the morning to ya Shawnee...have a great day would ya...thinkin of ya.....;)

Hey Duggs, thinking of you as well, especially by the end of the week....we all know that spirit can be anywhere, so I'll have to take comfort in that :circle-of-love:

Adjusted humidity last night and not much changed. I think it is just a landrace thing. I stayed up for 7 or 8 hours of the light period last night and they remained perky and happy. Same time everyday though, they both still droop down. Cool to watch, although I don't like it! LOL...I'll leave 'em alone for now; I have a smaller area that I use for my "special" weed..i'll experiment with varying degrees of humidity and temperature. Keep y'all posted!

I've noticed this happens a lot with landrace strains. They adapt very well to light schedule. If you notice this every day about the same time they just might be getting ready for bed time.

I saw a strain description for Durban somewhere recently that said they will do that. Not saying it is your issue, but it may very well be natural.
