Ive had springtails since growing with Docs kit and appari, they're beneficials! Bien! Other than that I have yet to see a living insect in my grows

Well, I got another problem...
My leaves are shiny and there are all theses little white sparkly things all over them. The whole plant is infected...
I think I've outgrown this 2'X3" cabinet. Getting time to convert the whole room to a flower room.

So, lights came on at 8PM. Went on a bug hunt. I did as Duggan said. Got my nose right into the soil, but didn't see anything. I even took a scoopful out and got it under the loupe and nothing.
Putting slices of potato on top of the soil was supposed to draw gnat larva to the surface where you could see them. I had 4 slices in different areas for 24hrs... nothing!!!
Anyway... I top fed her a couple cups of mosquito dunk tea. Will do this every day until it's time for the second Cat Drench. Hopefully they will be gone soon.
I did find a helper though...

Yeah pino... we joke here often that high brix plants look like fake plants. And you have to order special glass beads to sprinkle on the leaves to give them that frosty look... lol
This is only my second indoor grow. I aint this good... it's all the kit!

You better scrape all that sticky sparkly stuff off. You don't want it to spread. You might end up with it in your harvest.

Hey Mason....good stuff bud....so, you don't have root aphids. Good to know, ya feel better,..i would! your girls are looking great BTW ....no worries. Keep following Doc's directions and you'll be golden. Remember to let them fully ripen to get the best out of them. Great job so far Mason...cheers to ya bud they really do look great!

I know about TMV but I had to do something. Now my question is with brix can you do this ?
I am in pro mix. General Hydroponics nutes on Lucas formula. I use Plant Success for bennies.
Nicotine poison kill bennies too ?
TMV I have never even seen or known anyone to get it.

I got a question that has to do with RA and gnats. A couple weeks ago I had a gnat infestation and being of meager budget I took a handful of pipe tobacco and put it warm water for 24 hrs. Then I watered just the first two inches after they dried out good before. Gnats gone. Plants never missed a beat.Hey Mason....good stuff bud....so, you don't have root aphids. Mostly, high brix growers don't have many pests to deal with. Occasionally, we do, but not usually.
There are safe products that can be topdressed, or cooked into recycled soil that will kill all gnats and larvae. Tobacco juice is also good.
Except for some really, really tough mites I got from a cannabis cup clone, mostly I just leave things alone and let the pests do their best to survive.

Jacob, morning bud...if you are using another grow method with bottled nutes as Gh stuff, Brix is not designed for any other soil other than a purpose built High Brix soil as our DBHBB soil is. Are you using DBHBB soil or another method.?

Heard dealing wit high brix it puts a brix wall around the plant! Lol! But seriously is there a certain brix point that you know bugs are not gonna be a issue?
