Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Holy crap Doc....this latest round of pics made me drule on my keyboard!:bravo:
Your Willie is just stupid Doc....really...4" to 4ft. in 6 weeks max. Nice Cola ,how much longer ya figure?.Maybe another 5-6....what ya thinken with her Doc?

I'd like to get it down before mid-July in order to have it by the time Willie and Family have their concert here.....

Doesn't look like there are many leaves on the willie that aren't consumed with buds.........when you foilar, you just spray the under sides and not worry about spraying the buds directly? I realize this is why we wash our buds.......just curious how how go about foliar spraying a plant with no leaves:cheesygrinsmiley: it all looks amazing by the way......I hate spiders.....

Just spray 'em down.

Crikey! I freaked when mine doubled in size in 2 weeks, but it stopped... ffs.

Ive got 2 beans of that willie that I'm holding until I have the right vibe (Graciously passed on to me from a really cool dude). I'm not intimidated, but it certainly seems like something you don't want to try to grow in a little spare time.

Killer plants Doc.

So I just mixed my first half batch of Doc's Blend. I noticed when I got home that [the Promix HP Myco] was last year's supply - packaged 01/14. Obviously I'm well past the best before date (9 months after dare stamp on bag). I'm not worried, knowing that there's some good mycos in the ammendment.

I guess my question is,
Does the kit depend on the contributions from the Promix to build the myco habitat we are aiming at?

Congrats, Doc, thanks for the dedication....

May we have a drum roll please?

Looks like DocBud is hitting his 10,000th post!:goodjob::bravo::high-five:

:thanks:

I'd like to take this space to thank him for the years of work in advancing the cultivation of cannabis and showing us how to do it.

It takes a ton of patience to lead such a crazy group of students through the same simple steps over and over and over again. Hats off to you!:thanks:

Here here!!!

Amen to Doc. That's like Guru status.. under his name it should read...thanks Doc for all you do....

Thanks!

I've enjoyed every single post and every moment I've had on the forum and going forward I'm having even more fun than before!

When I first signed up you didn't see nearly as many really nice grows on the forum. Now, I see a lot of them, including many featuring my gear....but also many others that are using other methods but have really stepped up their game, etc.

I think the message about the Environment being the most important thing has gotten out and about. Bud Washing too. I actually heard a person who didn't know who I was and never heard of Doc Bud talking about how they heard about washed buds!

Now, if I can get people to stop using compost, stop putting sodium and potassium into their soil, ditch the Dolomite and add the minerals.....then we'll be getting somewhere!

Can you guys imagine how good it's going to be in 10 years? 20?

Thanks everyone! :thanks:

Congrats on the 10k post and thanks for sharing your wisdom I have learned a lot just from reading you past 3 grows and the q&a at least what I can keep up with and thanks for looking in on my journal from time to time I have one week of the soil cooking down 3 to go not sure exactly how I will start the HiBrix portion of my grow if it will be from seed or clone or if I will just put my smallest veg plant in it to get the ball rolling but I am sure it will be great no matter what thank again and keep up the great work

Yup couldn't agree more I've found the people that constantly chase making soils trying to be "organic" and save everyone end up with sub par results to say the best yeah there's a diamond in the rough, but besides big names like house and garden I've very seldom seen roughs made of diamonds and yours stands side by side with my hg and I don't produce cubic zirconium!!!!

Thanks doc

One more thing on Doc Bud and his contributions ...

It's also hard to continue to post on a forum year after year. :cheesygrinsmiley: If you look around, you'll see that most regulars don't last more than a couple years - it gets to be a burden and a responsibility. Doc's been a regular poster since 2009.

Thanks for sticking with it, Doc. :thanks::Namaste:

I really enjoy doing this. It accomplishes several valuable resources that help me on my journey trying to grow the best Cannabis, consistently and interestingly.

I remember about 4 years ago saying on the forum that I'd be an expert in about five years or so. That means that if I'm right, in another year when I'm still here I'll be an expert.

That would be cool.
