Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

I have many options at hand

I tried several plant sprayers made for foliar feedings and couldn't find anything that put out a fine enough mist for me but maybe you can find one that will work. The 2oz bottles are enough to spray 3 full on flowering plants and a few vegging ones too. The sprays go a long way. If you needed something bigger im pretty sure you could get the same kind of spritz bottle in a bigger size, the ones I buy are in the travel section so they're tiny.

Thank you for that idea. I have some of them on hand and that may be the solution I've been seeking to allow me to foliar spray in my tiny closet. Gosh, am I glad I stopped here again tonight.

Hey Doc, Two questions about top dressing for longer running strains.

Do you do an EWC top dress at all and if so how much and when?

Do you think a light top dress of roots would be beneficial around week 6 or some other time on a strain that goes 12 weeks or more?

:thanks:

7$ shipped I'm game. Looks like an air freshener.

Man, I'm telling you, you will be amazed. It's built with an internal bladder that constricts as the fluid is used, so it rarely dry sprays, regardless of angle.

It seems cheaply made but they work! I'm passionate about these after using them for 2 weeks haha!

You fill it, then you have to close it in a special way, kind of like a reverse child lock. Maybe stoner lock is more appropriate, took me a few minutes to get it to be honest lol.

If you step up to this bottle from let's say a index finger top spray bottle, you will cry tears of joy lol. If you pump it fast enough, the spray is continuous. It's so easy.

Smokey,
I use similar, 4 oz spray bottles from bulk apothecary dot com. Also get my food grade glycerine, pipettes etc, from them too. The spray is very fine, almost like a fog. :)

Most of us spray at the beginning of lights on for the day so no need to pull them out. You want something that puts out a fine mist, I use 2oz eyeglass spritz bottles from the drug store and you want to focus on the undersides. You shouldn't have any burning issues from the lights as long as you don't go nuts with the sprays and have your lights to low. :thumb:

Exactly what I use and they wirk like a charm. 2 oz water and 2 mils brix or stress...done! 4 plants easily

I'll also add, if you find you've gone a little heavy and there is any pooling on the leaves, give the stalk a little shake. ;)

That's what she said...

I do both of those, especially the EWC.

You're thinking on the right track, go right ahead and try those things! The Roots! application is very helpful for rootbound plants. Now that you know how everything works, don't be afraid to start doing things that make sense. If you're not sure it makes sense, toss out the idea around here....but your intuition is spot on.

Sweet thanks Doc!
