Hey Flower Farmer, Welcome.

I've grown several purple strains, but this is my first try with Grape Ape. A fellow high brix grower gave me a cut. The stuff was devastatingly strong and quite tasty.

I grow a gdp cross fairly often, it's fantastic. One of my buddies just grew straight gdp in kit soil, I really enjoy it. It's my opinion that how it's grown plays a rather large roll in the quality of the produce. I have grown all sorts of different strains in kit soil, they have all been a whole new level for that strain.

Doc, just wondering if you saw the pics of the Scale that I wrote about (#3077). The AzaMax seems to be working. The amount of Scale (that I can find) are way down. Will probably do an additional spray in a few days per the package recommendation.

Still wondering about using Stress and/or Brix before/during/after treatment? Just did Energy/Tea post 2nd CAT drench. Thx.

Sounds like you're doing the job. I'd hold off on spraying the same day as foliar feeding.

Have you ever checked the ppms of the water that went thru the filter you have? My water sits at about 176 ppms. I just bought one so ill do a check when it gets here and post the comparison :)

Mine is in the high 200s. I haven't checked it after the filter because IIRC, charcoal has no effect on dissolved minerals. It'll be good to know for sure, though, thanks.

I will definitely have to include a few seeds of a purple strain in my next seed order. Breeders are so hit and miss with different strains could anyone recommend a breeder that is currently selling a great purple strain.

Hello Brother, this is not a format to be selling or trading , there are limits within this forum , and I think that we are on the boundry of the main project ....... Help each other obtain a goal, and the goal aint sell or trade , lets keep it Real, Not a contest !

I've really wanted to try TGA's querkle. Sannie's shop also has some great stuff. Doc always recommends landrace strains so I got some Pakistani chitral kush, many pictures I've seen have purple buds. Good luck in your search friend

Purple Jasmine Goo is super delicious if your looking for a tasty pretty purple strain. I have no idea what it would be like in docs kit (prolly freaking amazing) I have never grown it just got a few batches of it from the dispensary.

I'm starting to like this Grape Ape. It will get Cat Drenched this week and then we should see some resin formation.

The spots on the leaves are from a fan that I cleaned with a brush....while it was spinning in the grow room. Doh!

I'm optimistic this plant will show me some damn resin! Cat Drench later this week! If this strain continues to perform like this AND it tastes good and has a good effect, I might just grow me some more!
