Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Haha, nice! I'd say just use the powder but maybe someone else will say different.

Lol yea an then dude threw in that gel for free so that was a 5 dollar save well 4 an change but after tax pretty much 5 bux but he gave it to me to try it out an see what I like better. So now I got enough soil and worm shit to start my 3rd kits worth of soil. 2kits worth will be on 2nd run and 1 kit will be just starting the 1st cook today to keep everything hibrix an perpetual now in the garden. Atleast I'm hoping for enough now lmao.

Yea I have an aloe plant that I use as well. I jus take a cutting and drip alil on the end and then sprinkle the hole with roots powder. But today I'm going to the hydro shop and guna look at some rooting hormones n see if that dont help things out some. Cause I jus got my new cloner box an I wana put it 2 some good use lol here it is.

You can use your Aloe as root hormone also.

Yea I know but for some reason my cuttings dnt make it when I tried jus aloe so I'm guna try these different rooting hormones and see if I dnt get some better success. But yea man thanx for the help. I actually jus got 2 kits worth of hb soil mixxed up and going for recook an I should have a kits worth ready in like 2.5 to 3 weeks then I'll be off to the races. So I figure in like 10 days or so I'll take a few GirlScoutCookie clones and see if I cant get them to take.

Hey blazin !! Hope all is good ? I've for the most part had good success with cloning, but once in awhile, I run into a strain, that's just impossible to root, cherry pie was one. I took 12 cuttings, thinking that without much hassle, I'd for sure root 4 of them. Wrong, that # was 0 !! They still had green leaves, 30 days later, when I threw them into the trash pail, but no roots !!
I'm just waiting on new 10 gl. bags to arrive, and I'll be starting my 1st doc bud kit grow. Still working on my environment ! Soils been cooking for like 40 days now, so It's ready. I'd like to try those GScookies, fo sho !!

So I have some peppers going in docs kit right now but in 1.5 gal pots and look I got peppers popping up on like mini pepper plants lol.

Are you transplanting to bigger pots, at some point. I've been wondering if 7 gl. bag is enough for one jalapeño plant ?

I was hoping I could ask about using the kit on tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers. Do I just follow the kit and alternate drenches just like cannabis, or is there a different schedule for each species of plant?

For most fruiting plants like tomatoes, the Kit works very well. :thumb:

I think for ground plants like cucumbers and such, the formulations are different, while the soil is the same.

Nope, I was wrong - the Kit works for cucumbers ..

Last year I grew tomatoes, green peppers, corn in high brix soil and they were the best outdoor plants I’ve tasted in a long time. Used left over water from girls to feed outdoor plants.

Not with these it was left over soil an I was jus tryn to do alil expriment I guess u could call it for lack of a better word lol. But yea I wanted to see how they would do inside in the little pots since it was jus left over. But maybe I'll transplant my one big one to a bigger pot once soil is done cooking but mainly it's to see what I can pull out of the 1.5 gals.

I'm still about a month out from being able to plant outside, but I'm thinking 10 gal bags. Maybe two tomatoes, one cherry tomato, one jalapeno. Be about 33 degrees outside now !! And yes, basicly an experiment for me too, but I'd also like to know what hi-brix veggy's taste like. Anyone know if hi-brix produce is available, in any store's ?
