That seems pricy. Check the hydro store first. I was thinking maybe 10 bucks....?

I tend to think in terms of actual size, if I buy 5 gallons of something I don't want 3 gallons actual weight.
I always mean true gallons when I talk about mine. And the 7 gallons Doc refers to is a true 7 gallons.
I agree with Penny and Gray. Those pots will work great!
With soil builds the more soil the better the plants will do.
With a 10 gal. pot , it will/should hold 10 gal's. of water, or soil..it's by volume , not weight. You know i agree PW, about amount of soil. I feel it is a major limiting factor with most grows i see. Plants will do fine in smaller pots like a #3 or 5 ,7.
They grow great, bloom nice, and everyone is happy,...but, when you give that same plant , more soil, like in a 15 or 20 , you have just given it a longer life , so you can train it to get 'old' before it outgrows your space.

I'd run 15 gallons minimum with soil I think.

Ok thanks everyone!! I was worried that the veg pots would take too long to build the roots to where they need be. I think I’m pretty comfortable with and understand everything else. 3 weeks left on soil cook. Clones will be cut about 7-10 days before soil is ready so they have time to root up. Happy growing everyone!!

...first I was thinkin' 6 X 7 gallons...I like that portability and have good results in them with my own soil...but then started thinkin', should try some 10's or 15's...maybe, 3 X15's, 4 X10's, 2 X 15's+ 2 X 7's...latest thought is 3 X 15's and 3 more pots of whatever size with my soil...bottom line is 6 plants for the main photo grow...final decision has to be made shortly...

Hi Brix crew 
a few pics of the critical mass just before harvest (it came down yesterday). Grown in a custom ammended rasied bed outside. Suffered numerous setbacks, burnt, starved for 3 weeks and the general ravages outdoors can bring - still finished like a champ

So when I went to the hydro store today the guy got me to buy
So when I went to the hydro store 2day the guy turned me onto this stuff for way cheaper and yup u guessed it ween lol ten bucks well actually u were WAY off it was $10.34
. Then we got to talkn an I asked him about the gel an what was better he said they work about the same it jus pretty much comes dwn to preference. But when I got to looking on my way home from the stuff online it had a indole 3-butyric acid concentration level of 1.86% for the stronger stuff and .8 for the medium strength but the powder I got today is only .3% and the gel is .55% and .00054% vitamin b-1. So if I add them together would I get .85% for the butyric acid or does it not work like that? Or should I not mix the powder an the gel 2gether?

Haha, nice! I'd say just use the powder but maybe someone else will say different.
