Doc Bud's High Brix Q&A With Pictures

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Doc,
Could you please PM me with how much to send for 4 cups of root zone please? I'd like to start the process right away.

Doc
Do you still recommend using Amaze, PGR and Bloomit. It looks like you have moved on past using these foliar sprays from what I have read in your older threads. Fishy foliar ferts seem to be what you are using now.

Also you feel that the cationic drench has made a big difference in plant growth I guess its a matter of when to do it ?

The sprays I'm using now have all that in them and more. Amaze is supposed to be used along with dextrose and phos-acid fishy ferts....bloomit can stand alone. I do spray bloomit now and then to learn the best way to use it.

The cationic drench was like hitting the resin switch, but the buds are half the size.....but not quite twice as dense. Yield is down, quality is up. I'm doing it on week 4 this time.

Mixed pics of veg and bloom.

I'm so happy to finally be growing from seed again! It seems like a while since I have and I actually prefer it in many ways.

The soil test for the second run of soil came in. I don't need to foliar spray on the next run! It still needs a new amendment, but no need to spray. Salts are too high, according to the lab. So that can only mean the worm castings F-d up the soil, or perhaps some of the K-mag soil got mixed in?

I'm still in High Brix territory, but the soil can't take anymore potassium. So no worm castings and it should improve after this run. Should be an easy, light feeding cycle.

Doc, are talking about the reused soil, or a a fresh batch of Promix?

re: Doc Bud - High Brix Q&A With Pictures

Stellar pic's as usual Doc :D
The soil that got the retest, was it soil that got the 2nd drench?? and if so is that the reason for it needing to relax??

Some of the soil got K-mag, some got the cationic drench. It's all mixed up, but still within range for High Brix. Sodium levels are high, magnesium is slightly low and the PK balance was a bit off.....but all can be corrected with the amendment....except that the soil will be a bit hot and foliar feeding isn't recommended for the next round.

I'll be running the recycled soil in about a month. I mixed in all the roots and watered it up with Tea.....I'll let it cook for a month or so and then start using it. I can't wait to stop buying Promix as often.

Hey Doc. I would love to give your kit a try in my garden. Can you send me a PM and we am talk details?

I am really curious to see plants from seed grown high brix. Any thoughts on the following seeds for high brix: OG Kush, Tangerine Dream, or laughing Buddah. I just placed a seed order and they are on the way. The laughing buddah is supposed to be an 11 week strain and got me excited to try it in high brix soil.

Thanks Doc. I appreciate it.

I've got some Lemon Thai seeds in high brix soil right now!

It doesn't seem to matter what I grow anymore....it all comes out looking good in this soil. But definitely the more pure a strain is the better it responds to high brix growing. Landrace and very primitive crosses are where it's at, IMO.
