2 cups of mix per bag... are you talking the 3.8 cu. ft.?
I have on hand:
Oyster shell
rock phosphate (not soft)
gypsum
glacial rock dust
granite meal
I have been sourcing this stuff locally (not easy) and have a number of unopened bags just
itching to get moist. I would think this mineral list should be workable for upping my brix?
btw, ordering my refractometer today.
I have another question about amendments.
Please let me know if you disagree with the following:
ewc, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, composted chicken manure as must haves, every time.
Preferred would be adding crab meal, fish meal, fish bone meal, feather meal, neem seed meal.
Allowable would be any other type of organic meal available in small amounts just for diversity.
I noticed (or did I?), you no longer recommend PGR? Is that due to possible Paclobutrazol and/or
Daminozide contents?
