Good day to all.
:tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy::tommy:

Hope all is well and everyone is having a good time :thumb:

So I have been rather busy an now finally have some time off. Seems ill be having a storm tonight with the lighting and thunder I'm hearing. It's good cause my goodness it is hot!

So all is well with the ladies. I want to say thanks to Mr @InTheShed for identifying my problem so accurately. It is insects that is doing so! Now I must ask how to rid of these buggers with haste my fair good man! :Rasta:

Without further or do here they are!

Here is P#1 looking all fine as hell!

Fair to mention I have topped the 3 ladies in big bags. All were topped at the 6th node. Now my question is do I wait for thos new nodes to grow then use LST to tie them down and let them grow out?

P#2 rather very thin and long nodes. I'm not sure what to make of it as there is only 2 like that...

P#3! Now she is the biggest the baddest and definitely a favorite. She has a slight bit of insect damage but I'm sure I'll get that fixed with some dandy tips from the fellow growers!

Last but not least!

Here we have from left to right P#4, P#5 & P#6...

I will only be keeping P#4 and the other 2 will be finding new homes. I don't want to have to many now. P#4 has such a dense vegetation growing that I must keep her and love her! She must grow into something amazing!

The coco growing is so far so much better. I just need bigger water bottles to store more nutrients on the go haha I'm tired of mixing nutes every third day!

Will these pots be big enough? Should I be on the lookout for anything? They are 1 month old from tomorrow from seed and will be 1 month on the 12th from sprout!

Blessed evening for everyone and thanks for stopping by

They look great DK!

At this stage (being in veg), you have more options than you would in flower. For veg you can use neem oil spray, isopropyl alcohol/water spray, or soap spray (either Safer's Insecticidal Soap or unscented liquid castille soap). Whichever is easiest for you. I prefer the soap spray as that you can use straight through harvest.

Yes. Once the new growth is big enough to grab, you can begin to tie them down.

OK thank you! I will be doing some research on the soap!

Quick question. Will rain affect my plants in any way as it is in coco? I'm rather paranoid now haha :laughtwo:.

Thank you for the compliment on the ladies. I do hope these will be much better than the previous lot. So far much better already.

Rain will wash the nutes out. If you're going to have a lot of rain, grab some cheap plastic-coated paper plates bigger than the pots and cut a hole in the middle a bit bigger than the main trunk. Then cut a line from edge to the hole and slide it around the stem. That will keep the rain from washing through the coco.

Eventually you will need to make the hole bigger as it grows, obviously :).

Looking great Dkmg. I like the coco too. It's clean and user friendly, and it drains well. I have my plants in varying size pots mainly because I am making do with what I have in stock at this stage. I have some in 25 liter pots and some in 15. I am mixing nutes every couple of days too but I really have so little else to do with my time that I embrace this irritation with gusto hahaha. We had quite a lot of late rain. I didn't do anything to protect the nutrient values of the medium because I couldn't think of anything. @InTheShed paper plate tip is fabulous, thank you.

Hey guys. Will planting clover help with shade cover for the coco/perlite. Either those plants drink a shit load or the sun is baking them. I'm also thinking of using that paper plate thing that @InTheShed mentioned

Clover ain't gonna help with the rain ;).
No I mean for the sun. It's drying the coco fast. At the moment I'm using a paper plate

Getting caught up DK, almost there.
Your girls are looking good so far.
May the Force be with you ! :woohoo:

Damn that's a bit too fast hey haha well I sure want to see it at its peak hey!

speak of flowering fast you should check out @Preston9mm he has a seedling already flowering.
I have never seen that before.

Yes, but it did not actually start flowering "fast". That little budlet is the result of serious trauma on an auto.

I fried em with lights first, they stalled for about 2 weeks & didn't grow at all. Then, in an attempt to nurse them back to life, i inadvertently gave them wet feet. This slowed them another 2 weeks.

They are just starting to dry out now, I'm guessing that is why they started growing again & shooting pistils.

They are actually around 40-ish days old. LoL

How tall is that "baby mom" ?

So I can confirm that the paper plate works for the hot sun. The top layer doesn't dry so fast. :cheer:

It is onky a pain to lift it daily in and out for the watering.

I also discovered a shop that specializes in irrigation. Not been in but already has 2 things I need next.

So yesterday my loupe, 4 material pots and my nifty new glass tips for joints arrived.

Thanks for that advice getting the loupe @Backlipslide!

I will make a post later.

How about a more durable cover and some drip irrigation? What have you got in mind? We has very heavy rain last night and I was thinking that the paper plates wouldn't have withstood that downpour.
