DIY Stealth Cab, Hydro, LED & Multiple Strains in Small Space - Oh Boy!

Cool work with the Bonsai's Mr. Krip -- Love it! It looks like both your clone and seedling are doing really well - both have healthy new growth. It all looks great - love the experimentation. I don't refrigerate my seeds, just keep 'em dry in plastic bags and they're still almost all good from 2 1/2 years ago. Point being, I could do a lot more to prolong they're life and they're still good that long after (maybe I'm just lucky?).

If you refrigerated your seed correctly (in paper sleeve, closed, inside heavy duty ziplock that has dessicant or rice works well I've heard, but there seems to be a lot of good ways), it should be good for many more years than that I'd think. But, for pete sakes, you gotta have a Lucy mom, right?? :)

Yeah, it's been in the fridge, in a small ziplock, in a slightly larger envelope, in a bigger ziplock, with some dessicant, so I'm sure it hasn't degraded too badly. I've just had such bad luck with the other Lucy seeds, I don't want to do anything that will decrease my odds even further! :)

And you are correct! I most definatlely need a Lucy Mom!

BTW...It's good to have you back, Brother! :thumb:

I think I'm going to jump on the bonsai band-wagon. I have a 2x4 mom tent that is empty right now. I think I can put 6~10 different moms that size in there.

Welcome to the Bonsai Bandwagon! If you keep them in 4"-6" containers, you'll get at least twice that many with NO shelving! I can easily get 6-10 in my 2'x2' but I wouldn't have much room left for clones. I cut it down to three, so I can still get a couple clones vegging for 6 weeks or so, in the same cab with the three moms! :)

that was my thought, use 1/2 the tent for moms, the other 1/2 for the cloner. I will start my seeds either tomorrow or Monday, 6~8 strains and then a few clones of the Darkstar and P-chunk. That will give me a stable of 8~10 fine young ladies that I can put to work. I may need to get a big fur hat with a feather in it.

Mr K, I was thinking about your dilemma with the lights and all. The wheels started turning and I have a plan that may need some "additional lights" in the future so I put together a very simple and effective solution. I just created a quick DIY thread on it:
Cheap, easy, adjustable DIY light fixture

I should have my light completed and will post the pic later today or tomorrow.

Like I posted in your other thread... Brilliant Steve! :adore:

Where oh where were you when I was spending all that $$ on my 4 foot T-5 fixtures! :laughtwo:

Hi Mr. Krip !:)

Well since no one has said it......Great Pictures of your Pygmies!

Thanks, OMM! I'm definately a sucker for a good pic, and I've become pretty proficient with this new camera. ;)

Now, if I can only master making & keeping the bonsais as good as I've mastered taking the pics, I'll be all set! :)

I don't want to take any healing vibes away from anyone in pain or who really needs it, but if anyone has any good vibes left over, please feel free to send them my way for a good germination! :)

I took the two clones from the Bonsai Mom this morning.

Here's Mommy after giving birth:

And, here are her two new babies:

The Lucy seed had just started to crack, and really didn't have a taproot yet but I planted her in the cube anyways:

The Bonsai's eldest daughter, who's only a few weeks old, is doing fine:

And, so is the Power Skunk seedling:

And, here's just a few shot of the flower side that didn't require me to move any lights! :)
