DD: preps for round two

Thanks to @Ganjagrandaddy they got a foliar treatment of diatomaceous earth and neem oil, and thanks to @InTheShed the got calmag in their feed.

Just want you to know I listen to advice. Mrs always says how I don’t listen, or something. At least I think that’s what she’s saying.

Really, I do want to thank the people who have helped this to happen for us. You’ve made things that could have been complicated simple. You’ve shown us all the tips and tricks we could learn, answered all our questions. As well as with the gardening it’s been fun meeting you all.

And as a whole - showing us comparisons of different options every time we had to make a choice. Priceless. You made the seemingly insurmountable seem easy.

We have decided to chop early. With MIL here in 7 days, my health and the cold fact that the hospital cannot give me pain relief.

We can make our own meds and have the red carpet rolled out for royalty as well as packing the stinky veg area up into what is going to be their future home anyway - the bloom room from grow 1.

Gotta leave some room to improve on round two, after all.

And I hope you’ll be there too

We’ll post pix of our Isabelles (that reminds me..) maybe tomorrow. We’re all a bit done in here for now. And we’ll have a humble, but happy little harvest in a day or two.

Sacrifice too far mate , mrs GG's excess breast milk was my absolute limit. Be an interesting harvest of the Red Isabella now we know the secret nutrient your using !!!!!!!.

The end of a long day here. After whatever went up that thing in (one of) my (other) hand(s) at the ED, then countless joints and vapes, I finally sat down to have a nibble at the wee nug of iPurp from last week. Into the cone it went and phwoar I gotta say phwee that stopped me. Best thing I could’ve done - a reminder that a) it’s ok! No gut pain, face is numb, this smoke is fun and b) it’ll be better next time .

Hey DD. Those trichome pics are good and the trics are looking mostly clear to me. It’s unfortunate you’ve got to chop early as those nugs would have put on more weight and needed a bit more time to develop by the look of it. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Sorry about the health issues, good luck and take it easy. Looking forward to your next grow

Those trichs look clear because they are and while it’s fair to say that it’s a bugger to be driven to philosophy, I’ll add that as a silver lining - a few ounces of good pot... [nope, that sentence is already finished, Ed]

I told you about the nutrient lock out thing. Yeah, it’s probably from hooking the hydro up to the transfusion unit that, wait. What? You use your wife’s breast milk for cal mag now, too? Wild. I thought you were bad enough hooking your incloninator up to your dialysis machine. Everyone said you were taking the piss!

The breastmilk was for nutes in my first grow here. worked a treat too. went on to aptimil substitute when she refused to keep the supply coming after baby weaned. selfish mrs GG. lol. good luck on the drying

You gotta harvest when you gotta harvest, and after having such a good time with the tester, it sounds like a great time to harvest, bulking or not. And who need the added stress of the MIL and no weed to go with it .

I haven't heard of any one feeding their plants breast milk or directly transfusing them with nutes directly from a heparin lock in your hand...cutting edge plant feeding DD!

Thanks to @SmokeSara and Mars Hydro, 420 Mag, my agent, my PA whats’ername, dogs, doctors and other good people we now have lots of stickers and a tote’s amazeballs stealth tote.

It’s like a present from the 420 gang on the day of our harvest.



Mrs Donk had such fun ripping off the ECG stickers at ED last cpl days. I’ll try to make sure there are some left over for the veg tent next run, maybe a guitar case too

And here we have it, ladies and gentlemen.
The green stick in the right of a couple of photos is 750mm long and there for scale.
Converted to freedom units that’s about.. let’s see.. .. carry the, mm.. yep. That equals = Big Enough For Me!
It took longer than we thought. That’s a good thing. Funnily - we were stood next to it and still don’t know how much is there. We’ll get scales and tell you.
Isabelle Purple came down on day 72 of flower.
Isabelle Blue on day 71, then midnight passed and..
Isabelle Red came down on day 68.
