I am back. I wasn’t gone long so no hard feelings if you didn’t miss me :) I had to explain to my dogs that I’d been to see the vet. It probably smelled like I’d been to the vet.
I won’t patronise you, dear reader, in such a way. I know you are not a dog!
My nutrient lock-out, it transpires, has been due to this pancreatitis business. I’ve had my pH tested and been flushed to run-off. Loss of 30kg is something like the auto-cannibalisation we see as leaves yellow at senescence. That’s how it was explained to me anyway, except I’m not yet as ready for senescence as the Isabelles.
I thought this was a bit off topic, but you know there are a lot of reasons why we cultivate and consume this wonderful plant. Some of them are medicinal.
Senescence! We should all be so lucky. Looks like I’ll get there after all.

So it’s all still a bit like that bitey thing that jumped out of Sigourney Weaver, but it isn’t the sea word so I’m not trying to keep it a secret from mrs Donk anymore. By the time she was able to point out to me that there was enough pain to make an atheist start making promises to god, I was past pushing back.
At ED they poked me with so many sticks I always feel like Darwin’s Missing Link when they do that.
Doctor there suggested a new CBD:THC 1:1 extract for long term inflammation so I will follow that up with my own doctor soon!

Meanwhile, clones 1 almost ready to start LST, clones 2 still not showing roots.

Shed, Pres, Gigiddy, Skots, Irie, Al, Lew.. this one’s for you:

Glad no sea word and you are on the mend. There aren't too many things more painful. I hope the new dosing helps.

Thank you. Hope they get you sorted mate. have you looked into white wine vinegar and bicarbonate of soda at all or maybe Diatomaceous earth.?

Cheers, Al. ‘The sea word’ is the name of Sandi Toksvig’s boat, which I find amusing.
I must’ve written that bit too fast. I have first to get a dose before I can change a dose. Many bureaucratic bridges to cross yet.

Diatomaceous earth

White vinegar baking soda for CO2? I had heard of that, and thanks for the timely reminder. I was part way through putting a rig together at one point.
The DE. That’s not just diatomite then? And you don’t need to supplement silica if you use it is that right?

:love:Warm thoughts and wishes for healing DD. Sorry to hear about your health troubles but relieved that it isn't worse news.

Thank you for the kind words, sister!

Hey brother, sorry to hear you had to go through that - glad you are on the mend.
Looking great in the garden, was was the breeders bloom time on this one? Looks like she can go another 2 weeks! :ganjamon: Nearing harvest now, you must be looking forward to it!

Cheers Irie :)
Breeder’s bloom time?! Funny guy.
We wouldn’t have a clue as to their genetics. (That’s why we called them Isabelles. Will post about that some time). The seeds were literally a gift from someone who doesn’t even smoke. He couldn’t tell us anything about them. So far, so good, though :D We’ve been very lucky.
So if anybody thinks they recognise Isabelles’ chin/nose/brooding eyes - sing out. If it helps us to find Isabelles’ family(s) again it’ll be worth it.
And yeah that’s what I’m thinking - another two weeks at least. In fact there’s a week difference in flower time from first to last so we may stagger it.
The plants will tell us, but I will be sure to double check with everyone before any radical action takes place!
They’re just about to get their second dose of ozi tonic with tonight’s bloom juice and a little molasses too. :yummy:
:morenutes:

Diatoms are silica based lifeforms so you will not need silica. They are really beautiful under an electron microscope. It kinda looks like a kaleidoscope.

Interesting! Further research required. Is this something a lot of people are using? Are people adding living diatoms to their soil, or are they ‘fossilised’? Are they still organic if they are not a carbon based life form?

They are fossilized diatoms. I do have some living ones in my fish tank. Lol.
They are completely organic and from what I've read on it, earthworms really like it.
I put some in the top inch or two of my soil to keep the fungus gnats away.

Today is day 65 of bloom for Isabelle Purple (standing front and centre, 33” tall, 14” away from the light), day 64 for Isabelle Blue (back, right, same height as I.Purple), day 60 for Isabelle Red (shorter than, and behind I.Purple).

Trichomes are 50/50 clear/milky. The only amber trichs I can see - aren’t convincing; may just be fan damage or light stress.

You’d have to be very sharp-eyed to have noticed the one in front looking lighter in her undercarriage. Latest testers are nearly dry. And I have a new dry herb vape! It’s the business. Good thing I’d done a slight fix on the last stash I bought - it went from cough flavoured to cough and burnt pepper flavoured. In the vape it tastes like a burnt but passable curry. Anyway, looking forward to trying the pot with the zero food kilometres in the vape - see how much better it makes the taste when it already tastes good!

They had a feed tonight of ozi tonic, molasses and bloom nute guano which I’ve nearly run out of. Their next feed will be the night I roster off next weekend and I won’t have a chance to get more. I read a lot of folk only pouring water on their plants for the last couple of weeks so I decided not to worry.

What else? Clones 1, Red and Blue, two of each - have started LST on their mains.
Not sure whether to keep a new parent from this batch as Clones 2 are starting to show roots :slide:so as long as I can see some continuity I may hold off selecting parents. There will be three each new Clone 2s of Red and Blue from slips I left on Clones 1 when I topped and repotted. These were my contingency plan to reinforce the 2nd line.

Does anyone else have the problem of having to move loads of great looking cannabis out of the way just to get a look at the other great looking cannabis? I never thought that would be one of my problems. Lucky, really.

Multiple donkey dicks! Wow! :D

Really beautiful plants there.
