"ONLY" :hmmmm: your running twice the rate I run at rest

Yes, thus the quotation marks.

But the minimum at rest BPM for a tachycardia diagnosis is high - I guess the term designates something just a wee bit more concerning than a mildly elevated heart rate - and it is also a moving target. When I was a child, that number wouldn't have been high enough; the threshold starts really high (and has a couple higher bumps before the first year out of the womb), then drops in stages over the years. Even at age 12-15, the minimum for a diagnosis (of tachycardia) is 119. Mine was in the 11n BPM range at that time.

your probably thinking twice as much.:Namaste:

I'm guessing that to have been a joke (and a humorous one ;) ) - and I am only "speaking" in terms of quantity, not quality - but... Yes. There is NO off switch up there, and looking for an external solution has almost never been successful. (Although the practice did facilitate many adventures, they were of the mis variety, lol, and mostly bad. <COUGH>Mostly.<COUGH> ) This makes that whole "sleep" thing a pretty challenging concept at the best of times, both the falling asleep part and the remaining asleep part. Which is the cause of much " :( ."

Yeah - it seems to be a terpene profile thing. May not only be the sativas.

I have wondered if it's them causing various emotional responses, and those responses affecting one's heart rate. Still causative, but indirectly so.

Since I'm floating on a DDA cloud tonight ufor id stop and catch up. Wait....another couple hoots.....:bongrip:

I've smoked some strains that elevate my heart rate. Usually lasts for 30 minutes or so and then it's fine. I just make a note not to smoke that strain again.

See? There's a major difference between us. Lol! I'd be adding it to my list of must-haves. :laughtwo:

I'd say that's a damned good guess. The connection between the ECS and the limbic system must influence emotional response. Terpenes direct the action of the cannabinoids, including how they modulate heart rate.

In my case it has to do with an adrenaline response - connected to a condition called POTS (postural orthodontic tachycardia syndrome) which is connected to adrenal function as well as heart. Anyway - it’s part of a diagnosis I’ve just received (like last week) of a genetic connective tissue disorder and I’m still processing it all (that’s a since childhood condition that I haven’t known that I had - even though I’ve known, if you knew what I mean). So anyway - it’s been mentioned that things that raise my heart rate should be minimised ... some of the herb I have now does it and sometimes ingestion does it.

It’s definitely worse if I smoke rather than vape which is really interesting to me.

I’m experimenting... ;)

Gosh this one is pretty. I love the high contrast lime green leaves with the robust deep purple. Starting to smell really nice

That's a pretty old periodic table. Are you growing in an abandoned school, lol?

No abandoned school just an old packrat who collects alot of extra stuff, shows a little different layout than the Rhodes Table. What neck of the East woods are you in TS?

Well, I am still a little paranoid. But I'll state that I live within 250 miles of SweetSue's former apartment building. And, technically speaking, I don't actually live in the woods, but in (again, technically speaking) ) a city. On the other hand, I can walk roughly two blocks, walk down the hill from the road, and I'm in a wooded area thick enough to hunt in, and that a couple people have managed to get lost in. Plus, if I open my back door and shoot a squirrel, walk out carrying the rifle, pick up dinner, and go back into the house... people don't call the police (and may not even notice). So, yeah, kind of a rural area. But we do have convenience stores and a few cellular phone towers, so it's not completely "Mayberry, USA." We're just not big on gangs or terrorists (hillbillies who got their first long gun by the time they were eight years old can aim better than the "spray and pray" crowd about 1,000,000 times out of 1,000,000, lol), and haven't had any kind of whack-job mass shooting type incidents. Probably because most parents around here have sense enough to beat their kid's @ss when he/she needs it instead of just standing there yelling at the kid (or ignoring him/her, or being one of those veg-heads who think their kid needs a couple more friends more than he/she needs a set of parents, or...).

EDIT: I had to zoom it until it got fuzzy, so I cannot be sure, but does that chart have a 1959 copyright date on it? Nice.

I just got my very first auto going, and she's a DDA by rifleman. I couldn't sit back and just watch while you guys had all the fun.
